I must have picked up this by osmosis.... haven't been on for a week or so, but for some reason has a clothes clearout over the weekend. Managed to get two bin bags of stuff sorted for the charity shop.
I've also taken a very tough line on the knicker drawer - anything going a bit tatty (including my lucky pulling pants) have been discarded, and several bras have gone to the overseas appeal. I feel liberated, and might even be able to put away all my laundry this week....
One splutter for me - Pantene conditioner. Nothing else seems to be going, despite the best efforts but I can be smug in the knowledge I have no INs.Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Hello
Opted for UP in the end - really enjoyed it!! Def recommend....:j
Am bit poorly today though after the gardening yesterday, think I may have pollen poisoning or something - all one side of my face/glands, sinuses swollen up <self pity>. Oh and I found a crawly thing on my dressing gown this morning - must have got there somehow yesterday and been crawling in my clothes heap all night! Ugh, have to wash it ALL now!! I can't kill anything so it has now been relocated back to garden.UU: The Sanctuary Hand soap- WIBA? Maybe, but I guess it's more than an asda own. I think next time i'll spend the money on a pretty reusable dispenser
Hmm, that's a good idea, might have to steal it!
Oooh lovely dress Kaz - hopefully it may turn up at a car boot sale near me in the next few years :rotfl:since that it where I get most of my clothes! Have a great Essex chav one near me, loads of good clothes mainly M&S/Per Una and Next, but have also picked up New Look, Jane Norman, Elle, Monsoon etc etc. I give it a good hot wash of course...and only buy off stall holders who look clean LOL!! I narrow the search down by looking for stall holders who are about my size too. And I'm trying to operate a one in one out policy.
Every now and then I have a week where I pull out clothes I have bought and never worn. I have to wear them once and then decide if they stay or go!
Most of the clothes are 50p or a pound at most. It's great fun too, you just never know what you are going to find over there and it's the reason I'm still well within my £100 clothes budget for this year!
:j Dug down my stash last night and located my S&G body moisturiser in a tube thingie so that's next in line, hoorah! Think it was from a gift set the Christmas before last...Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

What's this? Do they take ANY bras? I've got loads that are too small but they're bright colours, from ann summers or superultrapaddedbringyourboobsuptoyourchin style:rotfl: Would they be ok? Or do they have to be basic bras? I could do with sorting through my underwear too... oh god whats this thread doing to me:rotfl: I'm going to blame you ladies when i'm sat in an empty shell of a room with nothing but the clothes i'm wearing and 1 tube of moisturiser or something:rotfl:
I've sorted through some bags of clothes and filled a whole bin bag for the bin:cool: I also found about 6 gazillion pairs of identical black socks:rotfl: Think i'll be binning some of them:rotfl: And I made hanger space for the pretty dress I copied Kaz on:rotfl:
I have nothing remotely toiletries related to addBut this thread is doing wonders for my diet, every time I sit and read it I burn my lunch/dinner :rotfl:
Julie have you tried antihistamines to see if it's just an allergy to all the pollen yesterday?:j0 -
<sniff> anti-histamines are a good idea,tx, but I've already taken paracetamol so was worried about taking too many drugs together.....<sniff> ??
Will have to take some for back to work tomorrow or they will moan at me if I'm still sniffing like this <sniff>
Hmmm wonder if I can find some Olbas Oil for the bath tonight..:o
<sniff>
Reckon it could be Toy Story tonight....:)....I also bought the new Harry Potter Film too .... I seem to have substitued one buying habit with another!!Get most of my films from the car boot but you hardly ever see recent stuff over there and I refuse to buy dodgy copies - not cos I want to give money to disney but cos I heard the gangs use the money to support crime - women trafficking etc... :eek:
<sniff> wanders off to rumage around for anti-histamines....may be slumped over computer sleeping shortly !!!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

Goodness me I am exhuasted....Just done the (oh my days I cant think of the word! I want to say hoovering but not at all what I mean) thing in the garden to cut the grass! LOL
Anyway that is the first time ever Ive done that and the grass here hasnt been cut since before I moved in and that was over 8 months ago. On top of that the grass was more dandilions so it was thick to cut through, was using an old flymo I found in the shed thing outside and it was damn heavy and slightly broken - the handle thing doesnt stay up so you constantly have to hold it upright, to make matters worse my garden is on a hill, and it not only slopes upwards but also to the left....my arms ache! and two of my false nails came off so they've probably been chopped up now too....
Was planning on getting some washing done and hung outside but instead of the lovely sunshine that was here before its now black sky so I think I might give that a miss.....fancy having a bit of a pamper afternoon nowMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

:rotfl: I always take paracetamol (well, not ALWAYS like some kind of junkie, but you know what I mean) with antihistamines. Never given it a thought not to really
But they knock me out enough on their own anyway so I don't think paracetamol would have a great affect :rotfl:
Is that true about the dodgy dvds? I get them from someone my dad works withPretty sure he's not women trafficking of involved in gangs :eek: But thats scary :eek:
Enjoy Toy Story:j0 -

Welcome Back RosemaryRight you lot, that's it! Photo time coming up! Just you wait and see, you have unleashed the Gok in me
It's all about the confidenceWent to bed last night and went to put some hemp foot protector on my feet and the blooming cat stuk her nose in it. She got a blob on her nose and before I could get it off, she'd licked it off and then ran away. Then this morning, she was asleep on DD's belly when she started retching. DD said it was the cat who woke her up by clawing her belly and she woke up about to hurl so good kitty Willow. Better than coming and patting my face when she wants fussing at 6 am!
Hope your DD feels better soon
We don't have cats (I think they'd drive OH nuts) but we get woken up occasionally by our big dog sitting on the bed between us and staring at us - almost nose to nose - if we've had (what she thinks is) too long a lie-in :rotfl: The little man never bothers us unless he's cold and then he climbs into the bed with us :eek: :rotfl:
I'm going to blame you ladies when i'm sat in an empty shell of a room with nothing but the clothes i'm wearing and 1 tube of moisturiser or something:rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl:
I think I may have gotten the girl on the Origins counter the sackI took in more empties last week and (yet again!) there was no-one there and I was told to 'come back in 20 minutes as there might be someone back by then' so I didn't get my sample. I was a bit cross so I replied to the email they sent me last time to let them know that nothing had changed and they replied today and said
While we do not communicate specific resolutions problems externally, please be assured that remedial action has been initiated
:eek::eek:
Judging by the contents of the recycle box I'm the only one doing it at that counter so they'll know it was me :eek:
They also confirmed to me that the trade-in offer is going ahead this week and it's on the Thurs 21st and Fri 22nd. You can trade any (empty or not) skincare item for a free full size Cleanser or Face Wash (original thread HERE) while stocks last.
If anyone wants a copy of my email confirming it's on the 21st AND 22nd I'll be happy to forward it as it only seems to have been advertised for the 22nd
Right..... I'm off to the post office0 -
So I went upstairs straight after my last post and photographed all of my clothes (apart from the undies which I have on and the pyjamas which are buried under all of my bedding as I put clean ones on last night and then washed the bedding today!).
I will quickly run through them here and you can all see what a saddo I am.
My work uniforms.
My tops. Think that the purple jumper is going to go as I don't have a white top to wear with it.
Front, dress for evening wear, posh restaurant etc. Back, Noah Noah dress for funerals or smart casual. Worn with Red long sleeve top and red tights in winter and without in summer.
Front, Monsoon Maxi dress wear it loads (freebie from a friend). Back Ball gown, worn a few times now.
Matalan cotton summer dress had for a few years now.
Todays outfit Boden dress (free from a friend) and Monsoon cardi (£35 in sale last year or year before).
Close up of same.
My elephant in the room..... I love this dress but DH ripped the bottom of it and put his chips and mayo on it last time I wore it. I can't get the stain out but can't throw it away. I MUST see if I can get it repaired. H&M in France a few years ago.
My shared undies drawer with DH. We wear the same socks and I insist on heel and toe socks because I HATE sorting out the socks which are varying shades of black. Unfortunately MiL buys him a 7 pack at Christmas and birthday every year.
PJ's (I have 2 pairs) swimming stuff and sarong. This drawer is a little empty so I may put jumpers in there to clear the top of my wardrobe ready for [STRIKE]toiletries[/STRIKE] Christmas pressies.
To the left is my gardening gilet and my work top. To the right are 3 grey sparkly Jumpers (1 is going cause it's itchy and 1 needs to go because it does but I need a new one first!) and lots of pashminas which are great all rounders.
Please excuse the unmade bed as my washing was on the line when I took the photos. We also don't have a carpet in our room yet so sorry about the state of the surrounding area.:rotfl:.
Sorry also for the completely gratuitous and OT post!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek: :eek: :eek: £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
