Someone at Pannone needs to be sacked for taking on worthless cases, maybe they might try court once get burned and won't do court ever again.0 -
Highly unlikely that this will go to court. Like many law firms, Pannone sell a 'letter before action' for a small fee to make a demand for money look scary. So for a small fee, Parking Eye can scare people into paying believing that they are about to be taken to court. Just anouther ruse in this disreputable, nasty little 'business'.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

Well, it is month or so now since I received the letter. Have ignored everything and NOT paid.
No more letters or summons has arrived.
Hope this is the end of the matter.0 -
I'm puzzled.......what made you believe the advice for dealing with the 4th letter would be in any way whatsoever different from that for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd letters???
If the 4th was somehow 'effective' or had legal weight, then the PPCs would send out 1, 2 & 3 all on the first day and get straight to the 4th.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Well, that's not true. The whole point of staggering letters is to
a) make it seem more "official"
b) to initimidate the motorist into thinking that they have not been forgotten
And clearly, given this latest posting, that works. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

You misunderstand. The OP already knew all about PPCs etcand to ignore all their letters - all advice on here says ignore everything and there will be lots of letters, ignore everything. So my question to the OP still stands - what make them think the 4th letter was less 'ignorable' than the first 3 letters?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I was debating the 2nd sentence of your post, that if the 4th had legal weight, then they could send the first 3 on the same day. My point was that they act in the same was as people who are legally allowed to pursue a debt which is why they can scare people into paying up.
They play the game so well that even a person who knows to ignore their garbage can second guess themselves when another letter arrives.
If any of them had "legal weight" then they COULDN'T send the first three out on the same day. They would have to abide by the rules, which is what they are pretending to do by staggering their letters. One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
Lets face it, if they had any weight at all they would not even send out the first ones and jump straight to the nitty gritty.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Exactly my point [in a way].
That's why i'm asking the OP [who knew to ignore everything from PPCs], why they suddenly changed their mind??Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -
