Oooh hiyas cheryl

Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Was read only for me too.
Save the original, Locate the file and right click on the file name. When pop up appears click on properties.
When the box pops up, the attributes are at the bottom. Uncheck the 'read only' box. Click apply, then click ok.0 -
Hi can someone explain quido to me please? I know you shop "through it" and earn cashback. How do you get the cash? Do you have to build up a certain amount or wait a certain time? Thank you. I'm off to walk to school to pick up DS2, catch u later xMum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.
Keen to live a healthly lifestyle and save money0 -

They then (eventually) get the money from the retailer and credit it to your Quidco account
Within your account you can set it to pay out if there's any money due, or only if your balance is above a certain amount (mine's set to pay if anything's due)
At the end of each calendar month they pay me into my bank account (via BACS, the same way as an employer pays your salary in)
The only money you don't get is the first £5 earned in a membership year - they retain that as your 'membership fee'Cheryl0 -
Brill, thank you xMum to 2 DSs, dog mum, wife full-time worker.

already had to put petrol in car today so as it is not going to be a nsd overall i think i shall go shopping!! scary stuff!! need to go ideally to asda morrisons and sainsburys but only one i will be near is sainsburys - so i am a bit cross as ill have to go to the others another and then thats another nsd gone!!!! ill see what i can do!!
so far this month ive spend £13.70 on groceries and in that i include things for garden, laundry, cleaning, everything you need to buy for house etc! and had 11/14 NSD
so hoping i wont be silly tonight!! going to write a list in a bit!
petrol has been the only other thing weve bought and we would have more NSD theres if it were for the fact we keep having to put small amounts in at a time coz weve no money!!
so petrol weve had 8/14 NSD and spent £99.89 so far scary!!!!Frugal living challenge - need to revisit its been.a while !! Need to reduce our debts!!0 -
I'd join TopCashBack too. No fee, sometimes they have a higher rate on certain retailers too. They also do top ups, the more you use them the higher the top up. I used to favour Quidco, now it seems to be TopCashBack. Also quidco has denied a few payments or simply delayed them recently, despite following their rules.
Make sure if it is a big cash back and not a few pennies that you clear your cookies and go to the company via the cashback site. If you went to say TheBodyShop, via a link on MSE, had a look at the deal and then logged into quidco, you may find the cashback goes to MSE through their referal.0 -

I am lost :rotfl:Your NSD is 7/13 and 8/14 if you do not shop today? Mind you, I am only partially aware it is friday today:o:)0 -
good news:
I got a 50 quid gift card from Very after they couldnt fulfil a lot of our orders so very happy with this :j
I don't do Very but could you Ebay the card and use that to set against some of the outgoings? Is that allowed?SandraScarlett wrote: »Failure to prepare is to prepare for failure
If you don't try, you can't improve
If you don't improve, you can't succeed
If you don't succeed, you can't achieve your best
Your best is proof that you've tried
So try, try, TRY!!!!!
You are all trying so hard, and eventually it will all become second nature to you, and, without realising it, you will find that you're making a big difference. If your day's been lousy, there's no disgrace in admitting it. Everyone's here to support each other, and the person who has 47 NSDs in a row, and has never had money problems, is telling porkies!! :grouphug: xx
I read the '47 NSDs in a row' as being about an imaginary person with impossible achievements, definitely not aimed at anyone on this thread (we haven't had 47 days yet!). If anyone has had 100% NSDs so far, will you please come out of lurkdom and tell us how you did it?Hi can someone explain quido to me please? I know you shop "through it" and earn cashback. There's a tool for comparing cashback somewhere on this site. Also worth looking at is the Nectar site if you have a Nectar card. It's not as generous as cashback but has some outlets you don't see on cashback sites, for example Amazon.
Minnie - hold on! Going on the figures, you've done amazingly well. :T
Had a bit of a culinary disaster this morning. I now know that if you put noodles into a soup you're slow-cooking overnight, they dissolve and you end up with something like savoury porridge....'Whatever you dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin now.' Goethe
