Can anyone tell me the width of a standard wooden peg? I know its random but I am looking at buying some ribbon to make the decorative ones and don't know what width to buy, have tried the neighbours and they don't have any I can measure either! Thank you. (if anyone has any top tips on places to buy ribbon it would be most appreciated)

Hi my first post on this forum I think I have caught up read all the posts from the beginning after seeing a link from the sewing room.
Some very nice makes on here, I have made a start on my Christmas cards using tags bought in the sale from Debenhams last year.
It is hard to start feeling Christmassy here it is still hitting 30 degrees. I have decided I would like to make my 4 kids a sweet jar each, went to Ikea
today their jars where either too big or small or too expensive but yureka went to another store and found some plastic jars about twice size of a standard
jam jar for about 50p each. And lucky me I have relatives visiting next week to bring me lots of cheap sweets from Tesco, I am hoping the jars will be better/cheaper
    than selection boxes here.
I have a sweet tooth it could be a case of one for them two for me lol. By the way the jars they were selling in Debenhams here started from 14euro upto 26 euro the latter
£15 on their website sooo expensive.
