is there anywhere online you can get small amounts of cellophane rather than the huge rolls you get for florists etc my florist is really skingy and charges 50p a metre for the cellophane pretty but i know its expensive and also the card makers amongst you where do you start lol loads of questions i know sorry, and i love those bags made of strips of mags and sellotape their fab !

    #http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Florists-Cellophane-Wrap-Stars-White-10m-roll-end_W0QQitemZ110482042083QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Crafts_FloralSupplies_SM?hash=item19b93e2ce3

Thats starting price 99p + £2.45 postage, think its 10 metres, I get all mine from this shop, def recommend.

If you want cello, avoid the coloured, ok it does look very pretty, but starts twice the price.

if you get a roll they last for ages, and your soon make you money back as they say. xx

What a day, thou had the easy bit, dd was sick last night, but went and woke mum + dad up, as I'm stuck with a silly kidney infection, so she wanted me to sleep, she then didn't want to go back to her bed, so slept in theres...... apparently she fidgeted like mad.... when we share bed travelodge there 5ft bed, she tries to take as much of it...
Then about an hr later....... she threw u again (I shouldn't laugh but)... all over dads head his pillow and his side of the bed.

She went back to her bed at 7am, didn't wake up till midday, but shes a lot better bless her.

I have been good and listed 50 items on ebay..... took 6 hrs in total, (didn't use turbo listing), so at 11.30, just listed without photos just going back and adding them on, so far got 10 watchers..... so fingers crossed someone will buy! Just realised nothing was mine - if any sells its all dds money (get reinvested in clothes dare say!!)

Give you all a laugh, dad fell asleep on the settee, so dd painted his toe nails bright red....... she was about to do his finger nails but he woke up... got no nail polish remover..... its not summer, so no-one will see them!!

Valentines day - dd has decided were going to have a choc fondue with Baileys (lush)... as she feels sorry for me being single...
melt choc (microwave or old over the saucepan method) 100g bar
add table-spoonful cream (single, double, which ever you got - thou guess milk would as well)
Then add baileys (we used a mini bottle)
beat in well at each stage

Then put into chocolate fondue (light the candle - stop the mix hardening)

    Use marshmallows or fruit.

Make her a little treat, b4 xmas got one of those pink fondue sets from Argos, (plug in jobbie) but has chocolate moulds.. that be her treat. xx

I hope Miss Hoodie's feeling better now, and you, of course.

That's a good idea for Valentines day - choc fondue, I hadn't thought of that! Well done.

thanks for the ideas sarah:T...got some for easter too!? :p

I'm off to hunt for red tic tacs:D going to do that for husband - it's brilliant.

Have so much craft stuff I'm going to make personalised boxes for easter for the kids and put little eggs in - hoping home bargains will have cheap big packs.

Also going to do a wine hamper for my friends birthday and am going to use my tesco points and make her a label for one of the wine bottles and call it simone's shiraz and possibly put her photo on. Ooh getting excited.

Thanks I just remembered I bought a template to make little boxes. I can put in some little chocs, I have a silicone ice cube tray and can melt some Tesco's own label choc - it tastes quite nice actually. That'll be dead cheap.

    Ooh the possiblilties are endless.

mum2one - hope you are feeling better today.

Well, I decided to put my Ebay earnings to good use last night and bought a Nintendo DS with Nintendogs game off Ebay for DD1 Christmas present. It was her birthday last week and she was a bit sad that she didn't get one (she had a big party instead), so that will be a nice surprise for her. However, that means that my Paypal account has now been cleaned out  but also that the present was money-neutral :T

I listed another 4 items on Ebay yesterday, so hopefully they will take my January earnings over £50.

I'm finally getting the hang of this!

Also recieved Bullet for my Valentine bag yesterday (thanks OP) so that is ready for nephew's birthday at beginning of Feb.

Hope everybody else is well, will try to check back later.

  • I'm not doing so well, decided to take the plunge and sell some things on ebay so got the camera out and was trying to focus, the phone rang and I dropped the camera. Now it buzzes three times when you try to turn it on, the lens is completely stuck and at an angle. Almost made £50.00 on Dooyoo so looks like that's going on a new camera *sigh*. On the bright side I have had inspiration for the mini challenge, wont be able to post pics though lol.
