Did you know that you could save money by taking a subscription out on this magazine. I paid £16.50 for three months magazines. I'm sure if you look in the mag. there will be somewhere to start a subscription and save money. I have just cancelled my subscription as I have so much stuff I will take ages to use it all up, especially as my DH bought me a Cricut Expression machine for Christmas.:ji buy lets make cards magazine its £7.99 but the stuff you get in it is well worth every penny ive just got the latest edition and so far made 9 easter cards from it you get 10 different colour card blanks and envelopes 4 lots of ribbon bag of card toppers and lots more plus the mag :rotfl:0 -

NOOOOOOOOOO, a Cricut machine, that is so not fair!! I have been lusting after one of those things for ages. Are they really as good as they say?? Tell me all about it, please?? I hope you use it lots.. I am so green with jealousy, maybe I should start selling my cards so I can save up for one.0 -

Hello. Can I seek some advice, as you all seem to be brilliant at card-making? I am planning to make my own wedding invitations. Up to now, I have only tried fairly basic card-making, just sticking things onto the cards. For the invitations, I want to keep the front of the card plan, with just mine and my boyfriend's initials stamped and then embossed using gold powder and a heat gun. Am I taking on something that is too tricky for a beginner? It sounds fairly easy from the websites I've looked at, but wouldn't mind a professional opinion before I go and buy all of the equipment.

Hi bigbird have you seen the pic of the wedding invite i did? its on page7 of the thread.Its very plain and basic but easy to reproduce has i have 150 to do ive never done heat embossing so i wouldnt know my advice is to play around like i have done with layering card etc and different ribbon etc the easier the better id say especialy if you have a lot to do let me know what you decide to do.Hello.
