You could make a wee 'pouch' or bag and sit it in there on top of the card, makes it quite heavy though. or tie ribbon around the neck and punch two holes in the middle top of the card and thread the ribbon through so the nailvarnish dangles IYSWIM? You would have to play about with it. Great idea, really cute if it works..Or if you have a spare bit of denim, cut a patch, make a wee pocket on the card.
ok here is the male card of the day... If you can't think of find an image, just the Happy Birthday as the topper. As I thought the letters looked a bit flat I stuck tiny gems on them, cocktail stick is great for applying glue (tip of the day) blue birthday cake is from some confetti I had in my craft box, have had it for years never seems to come to an end. lol0 -
Polly, for golfing card I would use green backing paper (like grass) and just layer up with different card and stick on, or do like the Easter card above, cut a bit off and down the side stick some green paper and stick the golf balls on there, randomly0

mumoftwo - brilliant card.............men are diffiicult and if they've no partifcular hobbies I tend to keep the card reasonably plain with just a bit of embelishment..........they don't seem to like a lot of fuss.
My next little bit to do is to try and make an mini-envelope to put inside my sons card to pop his gramps ID tag from WW2 inside (Dad had three of them and son will be thrilled to have something like that)
polly - think the nail varnish will be a bit too much now I've had another look and as I've got a few of them I'll put them in a little bag for her to add to her pressies.Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

I'm surprised no one has pointed you in the direction of www.docrafts.co.uk yet. There's a forum & gallery where you can post pics of your cards and view others.
I did (post #82) but maybe I didn't SHOUT loud enough lol. Anyway, there are some great ideas on this thread now. Thanks mumoftwo and polly1976.:T0 -

IYSWIM means: If You See What I Mean
IMHO: In My Honest Opinion
HTH: Hope that Helps0 -
Hi all, hope you dont mind me jumping in. I am an avid card maker and have now progressd into scrapbooking. I started making cards when I was around 18/19 and been making them every since. Then with the help of people in the dfw board i set up my own website taking commisions/selling cards. I tend to make a card per night but sometimes that doesnt always happen. The biggest ever order I have taken is one I am working on now, 100 wedding invitations. Anyways here is some of my work below, the first picture the girl has been watercoloured.
