Horray i had a great shop @ Boots Garthdee(aberdeen)today:j

I went in to use up my last highlighter voucher and was looking for the hand saviour hand cream but it was oos so i settled on the younger longer??(is that what its called??:o) Also picked up more reduced roll ons and bogof 25p body sprays:D Was having a look at the Rimmell make up when the No7 sa came in about and said to me "do you have a highlighter voucher" so i said yes so she said "do you know you can still gt a gwp" i said no;)(course i did but i thought i would just roll with it as u do ) so she went and got me a gwp so i asked her if i could pay with her(i thought it would be ok as she suggested the gwp;)) so she puts it all through and it is £22.85 so in this order i handed her 250pts No7, £5 off £20 pc voucher, highlighter voucher then £5 off No7 pink voucher:) and they all worked a treat!! She was well impressed with my £2.60 left to pay and so was i:D

Then i had another quick look and got a small denman brush reduced to £1,a silver metal mirror compact(for breast cancer care)reduced to 64p,4 x muffins reduced to 20p each(yum yum ) noticed they had the Ted baker minitures gift set(4 minis in clear front grey c/board box/tray)reduced to £7.50 not sure how much they were before??But i have plenty perfumes so i left them(there was some at the door on the mothers day stand as you go in and some on the clearance shelf) So all in all a good shop today and another Bootsr whos a happy camper:D Off to bed now but had to let you all know this first:o

OMG! I am really upset about what happened to me in Boots today.

I went into Boots and purchased:
1x No7 Illum face powder
1x No7 Eye make up remover
1x No7 Shimmering highlighter set (half price)
1x GWP (No7)
1x Magazine (free with advantage card)
I used the Illum voucher, pink £5 off voucher and 250 points voucher and paid £7.50. The GWP wouldn't scan but the SA said it was fine and let me have it.
I did this transaction again in exactly the same way (my boyfriend was with me so there were two of us) with the same SA and it all went through fine. So far so good.

Then I purchased:
1x No7 Tan Wipe
1x No7 Illum face powder
1x Magazine (free with advantage card)
I used the Illum voucher and was charged 50p!
I went upstairs and did the same again.

Then I went downstairs and sat on the step to tear the vouchers out of the magazines that I was given with my purchases. While I was sat on the step the SA from upstairs walked past. My boyfriend said she was watching me but I said I had nothing to hide as they had scanned the magazines and given them to me. We then went to another till with a tan wipe and an Illum voucher (as above) but when I got to the till a very rude manager (I think she was a manager because she was wearing a suit) came over and said:
"You have been seen buying those items at the till over there, and at the till upstairs and it's only one per customer".
I said "Oh I'm sorry, I thought it was one per transaction".
She then changed her story and said "No it's one per advantage card"
My boyfriend then said "Ok we'll leave it then thanks" and we hurried out of the shop.
I was upset because the woman said it in a very rude way in front of other customers and I was made to feel like a criminal! Plus, I was actually with my boyfriend so in effect we only had one offer each anyway! My boyfriend said he saw the manager on the phone before she marched over to us and he thinks the SA upstairs reported us!
Well, I'm happy with the offers I got, and I didn't want to cause a fuss. But I do take offence to being spoken to rudely just for using a voucher, and for being told a load of old rubbish!!! First I was told 'one per customer' but it says 'one per transaction' on the voucher. Then I was told it's only 'one per advantage card'. I know this isn't true because anyone can buy the magazines for £1 and you don't have to use an advantage card at all! She took the voucher off me which I felt was rude because she didn't know whether I'd paid for a magazine or not. I know I was taking advantage of some really good offers today, but let's face it, I still spent £17 in Boots when I normally wouldn't have shopped there. Plus, what is the point of an advantage card if they don't let you take advantage of the offers anyway (last week they wouldn't let me use an extra points voucher because I got a GWP)?

I'd be interested to hear what other Bootsters think about this?

Hi all not sure if a glitch for those that need it...........or just want it lol :rotfl:

there is some cotton wool pads on offer at 1.55, they are on 2 for 2 pounds but also 6 for 3, so you actually get 7 for 4 pounds, i stuck some in to boost up a little order. big rolls of cotton wool at 3 pound odd are back in stock on 2 for 2 pounds and 200 points for a 10 spend - hth

If you add 16 cotton wool rolls it comes to £16.00 and 1000 points!

Just wanted to ask if the £5 voucher works with the NO7 'quick thinking 4-1 wipes'?

- also I just had a look online at the no7 for men.....may sound strange but I guess 'mens products' can still be used by us women!?? - what is the difference?? any?? I personally think all men/womens products are similar aren't they?? (just different smells - or are they not be used by women?) - I'll suddenly develop a beard!!
