Hi,
Really need help. I need to register with a dentist as need some work done, but I am horribly afraid of Dentists - like most people I guess, and I have been to 3 different ones so far, neither of them have been nice, speak good english or listens to me. I need a recommendation of a great, understanding dentist who is good with people who are afraid. Can anyone recommend a good dentist for me?
Thanks

hi colchamber, I finally managed to get my husband to the dentist after ten years, by just happening to walk past aspects dental centre at the local shops in shenley church end, and suggested he pop in to see if it looked nice and ask for an appointment, and he came out happy and booked in.
he has seen 'dr rob' twice to discuss what to do and has settled on a plan.
must say though, its private, and on the higher end of the scale moneywise!!0 -
I've heard that one of the guys at the new Broughton dental centre is good (and they're NHS); I can't think of his name but my colleague was singing the praises of him and the practice a couple of months back... afraid I don't have any direct experience though as I've gone private elsewhere...0

We go to All Smiles in Westcroft - the dentist there is really nice.0

Hiya:hello:,
(Sorry if you think this should be in the Boots thread but I wanted a local view on this and after reading all the thread and adding a few posts, there seem to be no1 locally writing on there)

I was just wondering if anyone had been to any of the Boots stores in and around Milton Keynes area recently, in the past 24 hrs please, (on 16th Jan) and can advise and/or comment on their "75% off Sale."
Just wondering if its worth a special drive over (from northampton, as I was in area few days ago (Fri 11/1) and went to Ikea, Asda & Blethchly.)
If any1 could help by letting me know if there are any items left on the shelves at any of the Boots stores in MK area. Or any stores where the shelves have been cleared out and are empty ect.
:T All comments would be appriciated. Thanks.:T~~~~~~~~~~~~:kisses3: "In Raising Your Children;" :kisses3:"Spend Half As Much Money n Twice As Much Time."0 -
Not much in the smaller Boots, I've not been to City Centre so can't comment, but I've been to Kingston, Bletchley and Bletchley next to TK Maxx(I never know what that area is called!) and all that's left is Ted Baker gift sets, Spa gift sets, Royal jelly and a few other bits and bobs - wrapping paper and gift tags - Hope that helps!0

Sorry If this is a bit late! Boots at the city centre has, quite a few bits and pieces in the 75% sale. Ted Baker, Spa and Royal Jelly gift sets, Mens and Ladies Smellies and Bath Crystals, Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate Cup sets, Bratz and Winne the Pooh PJ cases, Brazt Vanity Case with MP3 player speaker, some crackers and wrap, and various other things dotted around.
Cheers
