Somewhere with shortest walk into the centre if poss as she gets tired very easy maybe I could get her a chair if poss... thanks ... oh we don't have a disabled badge by the way

There is a lot of parking around the shopping centre - premium rate parking works out a £1 per hour - free parking is very strictly limited and is usually full by 09h30 in the morning.

The link to the shopping centre is below

but if you do want to hire a wheel chair, you should park as near as possible to the Wheelsmobility store where you can hire a chair.

It may be worth calling them to find out where they suggest you park and if you have to book a chair.

To add to what Swattie's said; to be close to the shopmobility section, you are best parking near to Next on Silbury Boulevard. If you need any help in getting there - PM me and I'll do my best to advise your best route in.

The parking is split into coloured zones: red parking is 'premium' and is £1/hr, purple is 25p/hr and green is free. It's not always obvious until you look at the bottom of the parking spaces where the coloured lines will be painted.

As you'll see from the links that Swattie provided: MK centre is very disabled-friendly: it's all on one level and shops that have two floors have ample lifts.

I'd call the Shopmobility people to see if you need to book a chair (I've never had to use their facilities) - you will need one; I'm not sure if we still have the record but MK was in the Guinness Book of Records for being the longest Mall in Europe at one stage!

A couple of the others have already pointed you in the right direction, there is an interactive parking map http://www.mkweb.co.uk/parkingmap/ which could be helpful with regards to location and costs.

    Hope it helps

Hi, I was at the Stadium Yesterday. it was well organised and they kept us updated with the Queens movements and impeding arrival and entertained etc., The Queen passed close to us as she was driven around the stadium.

I was really pleased for Pete Winkleman, he must have been so proud of what hes acheived.

    It was great!

    Cheers

    Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone knows of a supplier of good quality wooden sheds.

A friend of mine does an awful lot for our primary school including running a gardening club. Our current shed is years old and no longer safe for the children to go into as it is literally falling apart.

We are costing up options for a new one to replace it at the moment so we have an idea of how much money we need to try and raise!!

    Any suggestions welcomed.

    Many Thanks,
    Allison
