Had a bit of a nightmare tonight as I had worked out my healthcare shop 4p short so had to dash off and get a packet of paracetamol. Till would still only accept 1 of the £1 off £4 from peach leaflets and £2 off £8 but couldn't be bothered to argue as had also been running around with the Tesco kids glitter aftersun gel (pink packaging)
Re the aftersun, someone had posted that it was scanning at 39p instead of £2.99 so I got one and asked him to scan for me first. Sure enough it was 39p so I ran off to get another 5 tubes. These tubes all scanned at £2.99:eek:
After a bit of discussion I got all 6 for 39p each. There are two different bar codes and slightly different packaging, the 39p ones have a rounded top and the barcode is 010204 562872. The flat top ones with barcode 051277 379394 scan at £2.99 so be careful, a bargain if you find the right ones and good for car boots I would think.

Hi there
Today i done a £10 H&B shop using coupons of course. Included were 4xpalmolive shower gels on BOGOF. When I checked my receipt it had not taken off the BOGOFs - I went to CS and she checked and said the offer finished yesterday but as the signs were still up I would get them for free and my money back!!!!!!! (if she had looked at receipt she would have seen I did not actually pay anything for them but she still gave me back nearly £8) and I got to keep them. Is this normal???
Thanks for your help.
Bogofs overcharges mean you get all your money back cos that is DTD
Had to teach this to a CSA today!
On the Palmolive aswel, knew bogof would not work so used the minimum of vouchers cos i knew i would be visiting the CS desk on the way out anyway after getting my money back it turned out that they actually refunded 19p more than i had paid for my 3 bags of shopping. Thanks Mr T0 -
Radox Handwash £1.66
Johnsons Shower Gel £1.78
Aquafresh Paste £1.78
Aquafresh Toothbrushes £2.48
Wisdom Toothbrushes £2.39
Dove Glow Body Lotion £4.99
Tesco Cleansing Wipes £1.49 & £1.90 (glitch £1.90 off)
Johnson Suncare Range £8.99 & £9.99
Mclaren Hair Range £3.47
Imperial Leather Gel/ Hand & Face £1.46 and $1.48
Fructis Shampoo £2.78
hope this helps others plan their shopping
A good combination IMHO is 4 x £1.78 product = £7.12
2 x £1.49 Tesco wipes =£ 2.98
Total before BOGOF £10.10
BOGOF (with glitch) £5.46
Total £4.64 to pay
1 x £2.50 voucher + 2 x £1.25 QK = £5.00 off
= 36p profit
I have quite a few QK packNo H&B sheets in my area though

Must just be the self scanners that have it in for me with these coupons. Lets just say that I don't have any of the coupons that I was given left.. and I am a much happier Muse tonight
I may even have a glass or 2 of my free Southern Comfort to celebrate
I think self scanners are programmed to have it in for everybody, i think most of us use manned tills when talking about multi-use.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

I think you'll find you get an extra 41p off not 82p
Unless I'm confusing myself here..??
2 x £1.90 [£3.80] - £1.90 BOGOF = £1.90
2 x £1.49 [£2.98] - £1.90 BOGOF = £1.08
Saving 82pSo your answer don’t be scared of failure

2x £1.49 = 2.98-1.90=1.08(paid for 2)
should of Paid £1.49- £1.08 = 41p extra savedsure im right i think

LOL.. I have a headache now.
I think we're both right, it just depends which way you look at it.
It is a 41p saving on what you should pay for 2 of the cheaper packs, but its 82p cheaper to buy 2 cheap packs, than 2 of the dearer packs.
I know what I mean, but not sure anyone else will.. I think I need a drink..:beer:So your answer don’t be scared of failure

Have been working out my next lot of shopping and I was wondering if anyone knew if you could get the right guard deodorant bogof with the voucher combination as it is not shown on the list above. Any help would be most appreciated as I might have to rethink my basket:p0 -
