Saturdays they don't take bookings and it is done on a first come first served basis, but that means people queue outside from an hour or more before it opens and if you get there for when it opens you prob won't be able to get one done. They give you a time slot and you come back later in the day.

I thought you were talking about the vets for a moment there - until you got to the custom design bit :rotfl:
Thanks for the heads up about Dobbies - been looking for an excuse to pop in there, no I can say I'm saving moneyPlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
thats brilliant help thank you- I had seen the vets in stony stratford and wondered about it, so its good to know its one of the good ones- we are in shenley church end so a similar distance from 3 of the vets there.
that is the second or third suggestion of using m&s for insurance as well so I will look into that, not much more than an online quote from tesco.
supposed to be getting my tattoo for my birthday, in june, so will go and check out next generation soon. thanks0 -
Hello all,
My favourite dentist (the only one I've seen for the past 20odd years) has left the practice where I am registered... and I don't like any of the other dentists there.
Time to switch methinks, I know that NHS dentistry is out of the question, so I've resigned myself to paying... who would you recommend??
I want someone who's gentle and very good with nervous patients (not that I am but others in the family are)... recommendations sought, and fast (I'm due for a checkup!)0 -
Last time I was over there, All Smiles at Westcroft were taking on new NHS customers, and my dentist there is great.
MK is actually very well off for NHS dentists, so there may be others closer to you. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
All Smiles is also my dentist and very happy.0

We go to StantonBury Health Centre Dentists! Have done for a few years and I can't really complain, have had a new dentist there for while and he offered to replace my Husbands missing tooth on the NHS! So can't be too bad.
