I think there are two separate issues here.

    1. Posts/threads are, of course, sometimes removed so will no longer be viewable

    2. The search facility currently appears to lag behind, almost as though it is searching a cache file.
Recent posts are often missing in a search (which listing a user's own recent posts essentially is), but the posts are actually still in the forum.

I think it's this latter issue that this thread was intended to highlight, but with already 3 pages of posts in this thread, I fear the intent has already been lost :(

Edit: just seen the new thread which appears to attempt to highlight the same/similar issue, so all may not be totally lost :)

I reckon it's a glitch with the search function which shows your previous posts rather than your posts going missing.

I've "lost" a heap of posts from yesterday and Sunday too, but I found a thread I started yesterday, and while it's still up and running (although no replies yet :( ) it doesn't show in my previous posts list.

Thanks for the link Premier - a glitch from Sunday makes sense (I didn't log on 'til late on Sunday, so didn't know there'd been probs.)

It's not the recent listings that are missing (except the normal lag, of course.) Yesterday (Monday) a number of us were missing our Sunday posts from our list - but not the posts themselves. Today (Tuesday) some of the Monday lists have gone too!!

(That's why I'm late replying... no prompt from my list )

Yep. Exactly. Posts still there, just not on the list.
