Its because the reserved items which did not get picked up goes back into stock after closing time.

picked one up today - can anyone tell me the best price for picking up another S handset, have seen the DVD set for £14.99 on Toys R Us site. What are the best games for a 10 year old lad, and is any good deals on line? I've already bought him the footie games for Xmas for his PS2 .

Thanks, I knew about mech assualt and 007 but from what I've read Splinter Cell is the easiest to get hold of and I don't need to wory about the serial numbers being correct

When I first tried to reserve one, I was told I could only collect from Wednesday 29th and this would be held 'til Saturday 2nd. I checked the next day perhaps after further stock released or reservations expired and found I could pick one up straight away. So I have bought one, but still have one reserved 'til Saturday

If you're after one and can't find stock, keep trying 'til at least this weekend (when mine for one will be released) and you might be lucky!

Perhaps as well I checked again and didn't wait to collect the other one. Wouldn't be too pleased to be told I'd have to pay full price. :eek:

Seems very popular...if they're making a profit it would seem sensible to extend it.

Splinter Cell "Classics" verstion do work as I softmodded my xbox with it long time ago.

Considering the XBox cannot be manufactured for $99 they cannot be making a profit, I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft had instructed Argos to 'get rid as soon as possible' though since they don't really want thousands of XBox consoles back in the factory when they have enough problems with the 360!

It is worth buying one of these just to keep boxed up as I would be quite surprised to find something as good as this deal ever again!
