I have the same one and love using it, but sometimes I wish it was smaller because I cant get used to how big it is and how much you need to fill it up!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Thanks for the whole chicken info. I have one in the freezer that is huge, I could fit it in the crock pot but I think maybe it is a bit big, perhaps I could joint it first but I don't like chopping them up much. Maybe hubby will oblige??????
Moggins - mine burned on one side too once but the sauce was a bit thick and I had left it on for hours - it was no more than I expected, really. What happened to yours? Why do you think it is faulty?

Stella dont forget that when its defrosted it might fit in whereas when its frozen it wont if you see what I mean! As long as the lid goes on properly you shouldnt have a problem.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Smells heavenly hope it tastes the same!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
I am so envious of you lot- I am still waiting for my new slow cooker to arrive from Tesco!
I made vegetable curry in the main electric oven but I was in a rush and added too much curry powder - nearly blew hubbies head off but I swore blind it was because of the bad weather and the flu going around- to stop him catching any germs as it is such a good anti viral agent.:):):) Not sure he is convinced!"This site is addictive!"

I have a duck in the freezer - anyone done a duck in a slow cooker? Gotta find something big to try my new cooker out. Otherwise, I see another monster curry coming on.0 -
Ticklemouse - do not mention curry as hubbie convinced I am trying to kill him with strength of veg curry I just made LOL.
I ordered the thing on friday and got confirming e-mail saying 3 to 7 days till delivery. When did you order? Is it just me? I feel so deprived!:):)

Does anyone have the cookworks cooker one which was on sale at argos for £9 just after christmas?
Cooking on low is fine, but when i cook on auto it seems to get too hot and stick to the sides (!!!!!! to clean then). Haven't dared use the high setting since. Was wondering if it's me doing something wrong or has anyone else had this problem.
Sometimes I'm just not organised to cook all day, and want it to cook in 5 hours or so.
