Well I have now sent a PDF to RE of the briefing notes which do not mention the mysterious salad at the Spanish place. We will see - I want paid!!!

If they refuse to pay you, tell them that you withdraw permission for them to use your report.

I'd then contact the restaurant's head office and try and get in touch with whoever is in charge of Mystery Shopping, and explain what has happened. Ask them whether your report has been passed to them or not (if so, then you have RE for breach of contract IMO), and also ask them whether they have paid RE for the particular visit.

Try and embarrass them into making RE pay you.

Also, you never know, but this may force them to re-consider which company to use to MS their restaurants.

MS Logger is now ready for use ("About bloody time" I hear...):

    [STRIKE]http://rapidshare.com/files/252924895/MS_Logger.xls.html[/STRIKE]

    New link at 0954hrs: http://rapidshare.com/files/252930156/MS_Logger.xls.html

There is a download limit of 10, so when it stops working, please post on here to let me know and I'll do another linl.
I'm having a play with it, but at the moment it will only let me enter a round number of £ in the outgoings section? Is this deliberate?

Thanks for the advice. I have heard nothing back from them as yet, but they are probably out MS'ing on their lunchbreak! :rotfl:

Thing is, it is a good restaurant IMO with good food. I resented having to buy such specific stuff but that is the brief so if I didn't want it I could have released the job. I actually have no problem ordering a salad, but the fact that I was told I was lying re. the briefing notes gets me mad!

When I did one of these about 2 or 3 months ago, it was very non-specific, just told how many dishes to order, that was it I think.

This has changed, I think to include 1 dish as it is part of their new summer menu. Not sure about why you have to order the salad and the 3 restricted drinks. The 'mini' new dish I ordered was absolutely delicious both times!
