Help problem with jaguar X Type
I've had my Jaguar X Type from new over 15 months now, and whenever I drive at high speed over 90 miles per hour ( i know the legal limit is 70, but I do travel to Europe on the autobans) anyway most times I get a very loud noise sounds like wind from a seal somehwere...the car has been back to the grage where I bought it 5 times now & back to the Jaguar factor, but the noise still happends...I stopped my monthly payments and that affected my credit ratings so started them back up, but I'm getting no where any advide on what I can do please...jag just keep fobbing me off saying speed limit is 70!!! thanks for any help.

The speed limit is irrelevant. The figure to use is the top speed of the vehicle. If it cannot reach that top speed without this noise, the vehicle is obviously faulty.
The garage has no right to use the speed limit as an excuse.
In addition to trading standards I suggest you contact the dealer principle, and also give Jaguar UK a call. I had similar issues a few years back with an Audi TT and once I'd made a call to Audi UK the dealer were off like a rocket dealing with the problems.0 -

The main problem is it's a Mondeo of lesser build quality.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Not sure why you stopped the payments? Maybe this is why they never bothered to find any faults?
On a slightly more helpful note - maybe try another Jag dealership...?0 -
