WOW you guys have posted pages and pages!!!:eek:

A couple of tips for Lush usage to avoid some of the swapping on here that contravenes the rules of Martin's site ;););) hint hint..............................
    • I still have some products for last year that are going well (somebody already said Bathbombs could last 2 yrs).....................keep all your products in the paper bags etc and put in your wardrobes or drawers, it keeps your stuff and environment smelling great until you need to use the products :A
    • Bath Bombs - as already said, break in half or quarters to eke out the bathing experiences :D OR fill a washing up bowl of warm water, put feet in and soak like a footspa if you don't have a bath ;)
    • Shower Jelly - as already said, could be frozen if you have tons of it (if you're worried, try a little bit first). Snipping it into smaller bits is easier than breaking it off. I always put it into the very middle of a tight nylon scrunchie............then squelch it up until gone, leaving loads of bubbles that go a long way :T Alternatively Lush say you can take the whole lump and smooth all over you for each shower................I haven't got time to fight with it in the mornings tho!! :rotfl::rotfl:Another option is to make a small drawstring effect bag out of muslin or one of the little soap nuts bags, pop a chunk in, froth up with a little water and rub all over your body.
    • Bubble Bars - can be broken in half too to make them go further, I've also left some of the bath water in the bath afterwards to soak and wash down the shower curtains!
    • Toner Tabs - Can break up a bit smaller, then once you've used to steam your face, you can use the water to wash off your face mask that you put on after the Toner Tab OR wipe over other areas of skin (see vid on Lush site), you could also put the water in an empty toner bottle and use as a normal toner OR if your bowl is big enough....................stick your feet in after ahhhhhhh :o P.S the steaming was great when I had a cold!!
    • Lip Balms - may sound weird...................but I just had the MUVVER of all colds and my nose got sore and peeled like mad, I smothered it in Lush lip balm and OMG it made it far less sore and smooth again!!
    • Packaging - the popcorn and paper bags can generally go on the compost (watch out for the glitter stars and labels as they won't break down!), the glitter stars, ribbons and strings can be used for craft projects along with the gift paper, and the boxes can be used for projects/storage or recycled. I use the little sample or lip balm tins for travel, just decant creams in and also use for carry small earrings etc **Don't forget you can take 5 black pots back (any size combination) and get a free Face Mask :j
    • Face Mask - if you're worried that it's gone out of date and don't want to put it on your face, you can use it on your other bits like backs of arms or legs, some of them have slight abrasive ingredients which can be used as a body exfoliator ;)
    • Soap - last bits all over the place?? Put them all together in one of those little cotton soap nut bags you get, froth up with a little water and rub all over your body..................... or your partners body :p
    Enjoy fellow Lush fiends ;)

Yesterday afternoon they only had £10 and £5 bags left, I went past the shop again during my lunch break today and saw a lady wth a bag so they should still have some. The staff in this branch are very helpful and friendly and I can't fault the contents of the bags.Hope you get a bag.

Ah, maybe they were out. Or just had to assemble more. Mine seem nice, expect the Too Drunk Emotibomb (too strong!) and the Frankincense and beer thing doesn't sound that great. So nearly half of what was in my bag wasn't appealing, now that I think of it, but I'll give it a go anyway as it still is premium stuff I wouldn't normally have, lol.

The gold frankincense and beer is gorgeous, and not beery at all. I love to use it for my hair as well - I got some last year in the mail order grab bags, and ended up having to hide it from the kids! Give it a go :)

In my box i have 2 things i cant decide if they are soap or not. A brown slab that is sticky and a red cube that is also sticky, both in the £10 one

The brown slab sounds like bob soap, although I thought someone said they had stopped doing that. Were they wrapped at all?

the brown slab could be the christmas cake soap (whithout the white bit on top - I had just brown slabs of it)
