You've all been going on about this so much that not only have I decided to register with MSE but I also went out and parted with £15 to buy one of these bags out of curiosity!!

I have never bought anything from LUSH before, and I've just spent the last half an hour trying to work out what on earth I've got!

    Hubby finds it quite funny.

So here is what I have: Is it any good?

    1. Frosty the Snowman gift box
    2. Yuletide gift box
    3. Secret Santa gift box
    4. Happy Shower gift box
    5. Mr Butterball Bath bomb
    6. Double fast luck Emotibomb
    7. Red ruby slippers (i think) red glittery thing.
    8. Twinkle star bath bomb
    9. Snowcake soap
    10. Strawberry Santa
    11. box full on white jelly type stuff with smell of citrus?

Whats the verdict - good or bad?

Oh and to add to that, I've just joined the Lush Facebook group - I can see where this is heading.. uh-oooh!

The box of white jelly stuff sounds like the snowshowers shower jelly (I got some today!) - never used it before but it smells lovely!

I had one of those before and gave it away because tbh the sight of all that red glitter shared the heck out of me (not a big fan of cleaning ;) ) so my question to you (and everyone else!) is how do I use it without getting coated in glitter or indeed coating the bath in glitter?
The glitter seems to dissolve in this one. It's my fave, too! :)
I get 6 baths out of 1 bar - there's not that much glitter in 1/6th, it's only external.
    Hope that helps

Thiink the lush fairy has got me, oh asked me something earlier and i replied lush, he was like what and i was like oh nothing.

That's fantasmagorical!! Many thanks! I can't wait to try it now (even though I'm not long out the bath! hehehe)

And to the people who think Lush is overpriced and not worth the money... It is something I buy for myself (and my other single mum friends) as a treat - we can't afford to go to salons or to get pampered so this is the closest we'll get to indulgance :)
  • I have just been to the Kingston branch and bought the £15 bag, here is my list of goodies!

1 x seasons greetings box with 100g snowcake soap, vanilla fountain bath ballistic, 100g Marziban bubble bar and 45g smitten handcream
    1 x 100g snow fairy shower gel
1 x twinkle box with 95g twinkle bath ballistic and 30g shimmy shimmy glitter bar
1 x under the Christmas tree box with jingle spells bath ballistic, lush pud bath ballistic, 100g Christmas kisses bubble bar slice, 100g Frothy the Snowman bubble bar
1 x Christmas candy box with 100g yummy yummy yummy shower cream, 100g candy cane bubble bar, 10g let them eat cake lip balm, Mr Butterball bath ballistic and 100g Angels delight soap.

Quite pleased with it all, going to check all the expiry dates and see if can recycle any of it into birthday presents for the next few months! :D

I got mine there first thing this morning; unless they had stock delivered around closing time or before they opened, I think these stores are telling some fibs about something being "the last bag" so that people will feel they'd better buy now or miss out, lol.

BTW, the 10% off coupons in the gift boxes don't seem to have an expiry date. Are they good indefinitely?

LOL - I am pretty sure they were telling the truth in this case - a bloke came in to ask for grab bags just as I was paying and they told him they didn't have any - but that he could try in the morning.

    Hope you liked your goodies!
