Why is the unlimited option sooo expensive. Is there anyway I can get it cheaper. i woulk like to move from pipex to BT, mainly for the router.
Help would be greatly appreciated. At the moment, i'm paying £25 for phone & BB.

Not when they charge you 58p per gb that you go over your limit it isn't! I think BT have recently increased their non-limited download limit to 15gb per month. Whoop de doo.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
That's not expensive, depending on what they mean by "unlimited", of course!
TitanADSL charge £163.83/month for unlimited "home" broadband and £181.01 for an unlimited "office" connection! Other Entanet resellers charge similar amounts. I'm guessing that they aren't going to tell you that you have exceeded the download limit on your "unlimited" account like most ISPs would, however.0 -

If you out of contract then you can recontract unlimited for £15.16 a month on a 12 month contract.
call 08007076044 and ask how much you use they will tell you your downloads last 6 months.
If less than 15 gig then opt 2 less than 10gig option 1 currently £7.33 a month0 -
I agree i don't think its an expensive option, as you say you mainly use it for downloading n stuff don't forget to take advantage of the free newsgroup access that they supply.
To do this you will need a newsreader such as newsbinpro
no more slow torrents just a nice continuous 180KB download speed and no uploading which for a free usenet service that uses giganews servers is good.0 -
If you have an LLU enabled exchange try be/020

A lot of people don't like AOL but I have used them for a long time. At present I am paying £6.99 per month for all phone calls 24hr BB and they sent me a free router. I do line rental with BT, about £11 for paperless billing.
I think it's possible now to get a full package from AOL but some people think that line rental is better with BT as they would be quicker to respond if there was a problem. Don't know if this is true. Carphone Warehouse own AOL UK now. Just remembered, I am using Primus for telephone calls as we are low users (£2.50-£3 month) and AOL made a mess of that part. After the 12 months is up I will sort out a new package.0
