miss whisper; thanks for the info but are they good?
It must be a bad week for ghd;s cos mine packed in yesterday
and am gutted,so glad you can't see the state of my hair!
zoe
I reckon they's ok yep. My hair has a "natural kink"and since I got these, I haven't had to struggle with it - before this I was using DD's [carmen?] ones but she seems to have the idea that she should be abe to use her own belongings  (her xmas pressie last year
) and those didn't seem to get hot enough:o
I just wanted a cheap n cheerful pair I could keep in reserve once I get my GHDs so wasn't going to pay the earth, but am really pleased with these.
(My hair is quite thick, below shoulder length)

Someone else said the NOTW voucher was £3. It's definitely £5. Here's the link: http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/
Although I'm quick to criticise bad service, I'm equally quick to praise. I always send an email to HO of any organisation if I've had really good service (that's the sort of service that years ago used to be called "Normal Service!"), and one waiter at our local restaurant was made Manager of another one, on the strength of my email.
There are good and bad SAs, just like there are good and bad customers. I hear so many people demanding things in shops, and the words "please" and "thank you" never seem to pass their lips.
Mrs BB, I'm still really chuffed about your stand today. The only trouble is, I keep imagining you in Boots, quietly, but firmly, stating your case, dressed up in a Pudsey costume, that's bright blue!
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I am actually a little more dressed down than thatPicture a youngish looking long blonde haired woman, in dark fitted jeans, a pale grey top, with fitted dark grey cashmere cardigan, and you are nearly there :rotfl: :rotfl:
I love you comments SS - keep em coming

No way! I've just felt so very sorry for you. A trouble shared is a trouble halved, and your problem was just so terribly frustrating for you. I'm only glad that your Bootsters Family was able to listen and advise.
Everyone has problems, and whether others think they are large or small, if they're important to you, that's what matters. And even if others can't think of what to do or say, it's the very fact that someone is listening, and you know they care - and understand.
I've long given up trying to explain any sort of problem to my DH, that involves more than 3 facts. He just can't cope, and starts asking ridiculous questions, or tells me about "something similar" (which is nothing like it), that happened to him 30 years ago.
I then start feeling that my head will explode, and I actually wish I'd never told him in the first place. Then I want to scream - and sometimes I do!
It's FAR better to tell nice, understanding people on here - and I've got lovely visions of what you all look like!
I think all you hardworking students, and Mummies and working gals are brilliant, trying to juggle everything around, and still think of others, and what to buy them for presents. Aaaah! I feel a Big Hug coming on!

Another wilkinson sword glitch, the razor blades that are in 4's - are going through at £1.74. These have black writing on them for the words titanium, the new packs have metalic blue.
SA didnt think it was ok to sell them, but asked nicely and she agreed. Have to confess there was another 1 on the shelf and i popped in and bought it as well, Sorry but it will look lovely with the razor for a xmas pressie for my DD boyfriend (he has got the lynx set as well - the two tins that went through for £4 for 2 sets)
Can anyone confrm is this my very first glitch???????????BSC member 137

I know exactly what you mean and that is way I always come on here to share my Bootsing woes - my OH sounds eactly like yours!! I was hoping that he would grow out of it but it appears it may only get worse with age :rotfl:
I think it is so nice that we all have a common interest and can not only share our bargains but also support each other when the same bargains ago a bit la la on us
Back on topic though, does anyone know if Boots do any nice soothing creams? I have devloped a bit of a rash on my legs (ooo-er...no not that kinda thing) I think it might be either stress or heat related? Any cheapo recommendations would be grand

I am just trying to plan ahead a little and my memory is not working, can someone help- with Boots january sale, does it start at 50% off and then go to 75% or just straight in at 75%? and are there any big boots stores in the Bristol/exeter/plymouth area with a large toy section? saving my points for the sale!!
Hope that makes sense and thanks everyone!
Oh one more thing- .com sale, is it the same as in store?
TIA
Hi, there is a toy section in the Plymouth branch but not a large selection. The largest Boots is in the Drake Circus Mall, have been there today but really cant recall seeing many toys, think the toys are for very young children, perhaps you should ring and ask to avoid a wasted journey.
