Are you after a 'man with van' or just a van? If Man with Van then I can highly recommend Brendan's transport, he's moved me twice now (2 bed house) and I can't praise him highly enough. Quite possibly the hardest worker I've ever met especially considering he charges by the hour, I would have thought he would have dragged it out!
He charged £40 an hour all in, that included two removal men and the van itself. I didn't have to lift a finger and it was done in 1 1/2 hours. I ended up giving him double as it felt wrong to give him and his colleague £60 to do a full house move! If you have someone to help with the carrying then I think it's £25 for just him and the van - he has full 'Goods In Transit' insurance - 01908 6964290 -

Here's the website http://www.brendanstransport.com/home.htm I couldn't believe how cheap it was, a long based transit van was going to be £65 to hire for the day and that's with me doing all the hard work, lifting and carrying myself! He even plumbed my washing machine in for me at no extra charge. Top bloke, he does insist on calling you boss though!0

thats great i will give them a call tomorrow morning. the only thing is it will be on a saturday. but hopefully that wont matter. and we wont have to pay for the two days for the Van rental!! hanks alot though will let you know what he says June 22 wins -

Funnily enough the guy that owns 'brendans' lives at the top of my road. He may be a good removal man but he sure as hell cant park his removal van. I have rang the council on numerous occasions to complain. I know I sound like an old grumpy man now (im only 19 lol) but it really pees me off. He actually parks ON the roundabout with his yellow van and the big blue one on the entrance to the roundabout so your stuck to entering it on the right hand lane. NOT fun when there's another car coming the other way.
Im not slandering his company as he may be the best removal man in MK for all I know. Its just his parking that pees me off.

Any ideas on a good place to get an MOT only? Not looking for them to do any work (I have #1 son for that, but he's not based locally.......)Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0
