    Good morning everyone.

Looks like a few of you have sore heads this morning.

Mums birthday today (91) The home is putting a buffet on so will be going there later this afternoon.

The father of DDs friend came yesterday with some photos of him and a poem. She rang me and told me the first line of the poem was about being free as a bird. She had been in the garden yesterday and a seagull had been flying up and down from the top of the house to her. This went on for a while and didnt bother other people there. Her friend had said it was Michael.

Soappie Im really glad it went well for you yesterday and you had a lovely day. I remember when I saw my ex I wanted him to see how much I had achieved.

SS Ooooh hope you manage to get through your day ok.

Not much flying today. I do need to do a HHI though as Im back to work tomorrow.

    Home made blackcurrant cordial

Rinse the fruit, don't worry about stalks
Put fruit in a pan and cover with water
Cook gently crushing the fruit with a wooden spoon as it softens
Strain through a muslin and squeeze to extract all the juice
Add sugar to taste (12 oz to 1lb per pint should be about right)
Cool and sotre in sterilized bottles in the fridge or freeze (obviously not in glass bottles)
    Dilute to taste.

Makes great homemade lollies mix cordial and water half and half and then freeze in lollie moulds

    Hi all, well I'm up.:p

Ok so now I've got to write a BIG LIST of stuff I have to do today seeing as yet again I didn't do anything yesterday cleaning and clearing up wise.

However I am thinking that I'd really like to go out somewhere and just have some fun with my kids seeing as I haven't for ages.

Argghhh, will try to do the cleaning as I'm hoping to take some leave this week.

On my third ice pop in an effort to rehydrate myself.;):D

    Morning all

Never got on here yesterday (out a bit and DS was on the computer a lot).

It rained overnight but it's bright now, three loads of washing on the line.

Tidied kitchen and vacuumed through downstairs. Will be doing roast for lunch but don't need to start it just yet. All veggies prepped though.

DS goes back later today :( It's been good though.

Lil me - I know I am totally ANAL about ironing - and I haven't even got onto how to peg out yet!;) Put it this way - almost ALL of my pegs are (a) yellow and (b) identical !

Ah, another one who is anal about hanging out the washing ;) I have to have matching pegs when I hang them out...

Have a lovely day boddy. How is DD coping? Hopefully that brought her some comfort?

soappie - another to one add be safe (from all angles).

Sarahshattered - no wonder thats the name you decided on! A couple of years ago, I stayed up til 5.30 when I met my BF. He is such a bad influence on me :o It nearly killed me. I'm a total !!!!! when I'm sleep deprived :p

I'm away to get ready for lunch. My cousin who's LO I've been looking after is taking me out, along with our men. They are friends, thats how we met ;) I dont think I've been out for Sunday lunch for years :D

    Have a good one xx

    Morning girls.

How come i appear to have your hangovers

Baby woke up at 2 instead of between 4 and 5 for his 1st feed, i felt sick and ended up being sick about 3ish, then back to bed. Ds2 then woke again at 6:30. I feel like poo. Luckily DH let me have a couple of extra hours kip. Boy did i need it.

No idea what caused it, but i am just trying to pull myself together a bit to get going with the day.

kaz can imagine what you are going to be doing today - bit hot to be stuck in the kitchen.

Brain's not working yet. Need to get dressed and get to the supermarket.

    Morning

Where has time done this morning, got up at 4.45am to go car booting, it was raining, so got back into bed.

The cats had other ideas, and woke me back up at 5.15am, so got up nd fed them, then unpacked my car and put away the car booting stuff, did the ironing, walked round the gardene avoiding the rain.

Cane in and did the ironing, fed cats again!, got washed and properly dressed
sorted out al lthe stuff in the airing cupboard and put it away, hoovered round, eaten 2 bacon rolls.

Now at a bit of a loss, so wandering around the internet, and all the forums I visit! MSE is 1st on the list after ebay!!

Have a good day all, best wishes.
