Hiya
Ooh great thread...
I have another vote for
Collection 2000 plastique lip gloss
I love this lip gloss too.
.............
Barry M solid lipgloss is brilliant for a natural look to your lips.. rivals all the other posh brands I have tried - and its only £3.95

.....................
Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1 wash and mask
I love this - its a great face wash and also it can be left on as face mask. Great value product - and it saves space in the bathroom too.
......................
Avon mirror shine spray for hair - this tends to be on offer mosts months and I love it. It smells great and helps my thick course hair feel more silky and look shiny.
..........

Thought people might like to know that Aldi are doing some cosmetics/toiletries specials tomorrow (Sunday 13th), including the Lacura concealer pen at £3.49- this has been raved about on this thread amongst others. It's not part of their regular stock but is only an occasional 'special' (the last time they had it was February I think), so you might want to pick it up tomorrow if you can!
They're also doing a 'Wrinkle Filler with Collagen' for £2.99 which looks interesting- I'm definitely going to get some of that. And also some stuff for spots and blackheads!

Do let us know how this works and what you think of it please?0 -
Bought both the concealer pen and the wrinkle filler. The pen is brilliant, just as previous posters have stated. The wrinkle filler comes in 30ml size and should last ages. I used this yesterday and today. It appears to have light reflecting particles, which always make your skin look better. I pull the skin tight (So its flat, not wrinkled) and apply a small amount to the eye area. It sinks in well and I did not notice any immediate difference. Half an hour later though I swear the lines were smaller. Anyway I went out this morning to buy another so I will have some for later. Nothing is going to "fill the wrinkles" but we all seem to try our best.;)0

i have been using maybelline full and soft mascara recently and its absolutely fabulous !!!does not clump , lashes look fuller and they dont go dry and brittle like some of the others that i have tried. no problem with smudging either. i have the washable one so its easy to wash off as well !
if you can get hold of it .. try it ! one of the best mascaras i have tried !0 -
I love the Tresemme range so add another star for that on the list!!
I use Collection 2000 clear mascara too but I use it to keep my brows in shape. Once coloured and looking great, I just brush this over them and it keeps them looking good all day.
For my hair I have found Schwarzkopf Gliss hair repair shine tonic to be wonderful. Have used it for years and years and it gives hair a lovely shine without that heavy silicone feel some of them have. It's often two for one in Superdrug too so I stock up then!
Another oldie but goodie that I think people might have forgotten is Vitapoint conditioning cream. I remember using this as a teenager on my long hair and it's still just as good. You put a pea sized dollop into your palm and either brush it thru the ends of your hair or rub hands together and use all over short hair to give it a conditioning shine. It's great for split ends and it so much cheaper than other conditioning balms! To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough. If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.0 -
Fresh yeast (free from the bakers at Tesco and Asda) mix it with a few drops of water to a muddy texture and use as a facepack, leave on til it dries and then rinse off, smells yeasty obviiously but after you rinse it off with lukewarm water and moisturisethe smell is gone.
Leaves your skin babysoft, best facemask I ever used!
Don't be tempted to put essential oil in it or anything else at it "dissolves" it and makes it really runny.
I have used it with oatmeal in it to get a bit of a "scrubmask" and that works quite well too.0
