sue, sit the basket/present on the cellophane facing you, bring the cello up above the basket at the front and behind (cut off what you don't need) and secure loosely with an elastic band, then 'faff' with the sides to make sure they are covered up. Move some of the longer cello from the front and back round the sides to cover them - secure with selotape. When you're happy, add the bow! Hope this makes sense!!! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Wow, Debjk, the basket looks fab! I love the idea of a shoe box covered in paper- I hadn't thought of that as a hamper container but as I have a few spare shoe boxes will give it a go. Good luck with the raffle.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

Rainmac I never thought of using a rubber band ... I generally hold the cellophane with my teeth whilst fighting with the sides and sellotape
... Have thanked you!
Pink basket looks stunning... I have started picking up small bits for my kiddies for christmas, have loads of supercook bits which were 13p & 14p from tescos long dates on them so just need a plastic bowl and a wooden spoon then thats my sons cookery/fun hamper for christmas ... not sure what to do my daughter yet, however making up boxes for them both for christmas with some age appropriate crafty things, and also general odds and sods
picked up 2 colouring books yesterday for 69p from home bargains ... need to find some boxes I like now which the kids could use again.

I use a big food bag clip (got a big bag in Ikea), very easy just to clip on with one hand.

Rusty, I've never met you before but have a fab picture in my head of you fighting with your cellophane :rotfl:
If you're after craft bits for kiddies, Ikea have huge tubs of plastic beads in the sale at 79p, think normal price is £4ish.
I'm off to Tesco 2moro to check out the Supercook bargains:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
