Sorry I deleted the image from the album !!!!! Just reloaded.
They are an absolute steal if you can find some reduced but as we know all stores vary!!!!.
Photo corners were £1 BOGOF so not as cheap as the 25p some of you have found them for.

Codes for the items if you want to call the store to stock check are:
    20-42-355 CREAM SCRAPBOOK
    37-28-579 BLACK SCRAPBOOK
    37-28-722 BLACK PAGES
Dont have the white pages code

Oho, these things! I wondered what you were all on about!

They've got some on the reduced shelf at Edinburgh Fort Kinnaird if anyone is interested...well, they did yesterday.

“ Yes, but are you the “Bootsing People's Front” or the “People's Front of Bootsing”? ” (copyright, Monty Python’s Life of Brian, 1979).

Now now boys and girls. I thought the point of this thread was to share bargains with other people who like to shop at Boots. Let’s unite, be nice and fight for better bargains !icon7.gificon14.gif

I got some of those photo-paperweights in the shape of a heart yesterday, and they are fab ! BOGOF at £1 – so 50p each (although they don’t work with the pts off voucher) icon8.gif. The plastic cover is magnetic and just flips off so it’s easy to change the photos – makes a great pressie for grannies/dad’s/mam's desks.

It'd be nice to find one :rotfl:

(And did you have to quote? lol. It makes the ignore button redundant ;))

I'm having a break btw, so a few of you can breathe a sigh of relief, but I'll be maximising the use of the ignore button from now on, and reading only the relevant posts.

Be good (especially you *Jelly Tots* :rotfl: ) lol, and take care peeps x

The codes I gave are those which the lovely SA had printed out to keep them on hold for me though I do have product bar codes it that helps ( or not as the case may be )

Is there any way of finding out where Boots may be having new stores at all?
I am sure we could use more than the 1 we have & Gloucester has lots of spaces going up in the hope that Boots may want one of them.

I keep coming across this here and there on different forums and I thought now might be a good time to share it. I think it illustrates that forums all over the world are exactly alike. I hope it makes you smile if you haven't seen it before. :D:D:D

How many forum members does it take to change a light bulb?

1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed

14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs

1 to move it to the Lighting section

2 to argue then move it to the Electricals section

7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs

5 to flame the spell checkers

    3 to correct spelling/grammar flames

6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" .. another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid

2 professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"

15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct

19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum

11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum

36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty

7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs

4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's

3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group

13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too"

5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy

4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"

13 to say "do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"

1 to ask if someone can summarise the thread as he doesn’t have time to read it all….

1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.

:T :T :T Thank you so much for this geordie_lass. What a wonderful silly world we live in. Pointless to dwell on such trivialities when there is so much to worry about in the real world and our own private lives. :j
