Does anyone have experiance of how well they detect if you have had a switch incentive with Lloyds ??

I have never had a BoS account so I don't know how well they check. I have received switching cash from both Lloyds and Halifax, when I should have received it from only one of them, but that was a few years ago and checking processes may have been tightened up since then.
Only way is to try it and see what happens. Once I get 3 direct debits set up on one of my donor accounts I'll open a BoS account and start the switch.

Apart from 3 direct debits the requirements are very, very easy to meet. I don't understand why they make it so easy for people who don't really want a BOS account, they just want the £175 bonus payment. But, ok, I'll go for it !

Same. I've just had to organise a 3rd direct debit on the burner account. New BOS Classic Account with Advantage set up in anticipation. Once it's confirmed the new DD has been set up I'll trigger the switch. I did get a £200 incentive from Lloyds in June 2023 so may not be successful, but felt I couldn't not try.

Can anyone confirm if you can open more than one Classic current account?
The recent Lloyds offer was the first switch incentive I've been eligible for since July 2024, but I didn't bother with it because I didn't want the hassle of closing my existing Club Lloyds account and opening a new one, and I assumed a similar Halifax offer would be along soon after (my Halifax Reward account is being migrated to BoS next month). Then, of course, came the news that Halifax was effectively being shut down, so my hopes were dashed.
Thankfully this offer has come along, so I've had to quickly shift some Direct Debits to a recently opened account elsewhere. My Reward a/c is becoming a Classic a/c on 15th June so I've picked DD's where I could change the payment dates to early in the month to shorten the wait, and just in case the Classics were limited to 1 per customer. One of those DD's pays out on Monday so I'll wait until then to update the payment account and date.

I could not find any information in BoS's general terms limiting the number of Classic accounts you can hold.
If it is only one allowed, could you not upgrade/downgrade your new Classic account (the migrated Halifax Reward account) and then open a new one for the purposes of the switch offer?

Halifax haven't done a switching offer since 2023. We don't know what's happening to Halifax at the moment other than what's being speculated at in the media.
Why is your Halifax Reward account being migrated to BoS?

It was reported that Halifax accounts which were opened in Scottish branches are being converted to BoS accounts

Good luck, keep us updated.

BOS hasn't offered a switching incentive in all the time that it's been part of Lloyds Banking Group AFAIK.
It will be the same department and staff that undertake the Halifax and Lloyds CASS switches.

In the past I've had success in getting a Halifax incentive when I should have been ineligible because of a past Lloyd's incentive. With the increased level of LBG integration over the past few years I'm unsure if this will fly under the radar anymore but I've also decided to take the plunge and give this a shot. I'll report back in a few weeks how it goes once my switch completes.
