Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.New "Have a Look at This" thread

The other one has disappeared and any posts I have made are not listed in either my posts or thanks.
This thread is for things like:
. Spotting pets in properties
. Anything awful - decor, extensions etc
. Quirky properties
. Timewarp properties
. Properties in serious repair
and anything which is different and of interest to us
I start the thread off with one which I featured in the previous thread. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-72334807.html
The Hyacinth Bucket house as some posters commented on. What's with the floral wallpaper on the ceiling on pic 3?

Maybe the old one got too big and has been cleared out prior to the forum move?
I don't imagine we'll be told though.0 -

Not come across a jack n jill walk in wardrobe before2 -
Street view is interesting. It's the one with the oddly sloped front walls . I can't say I'm terribly impressed with the result of what must have been an expensive renovation.1

The other one, the Fordingbridge "secret drinker" - that's bloody lovely.0 -
Why are they called "Jack and Jill" anyway? According to the nursery rhyme they didn't even have running water, never mind a shared en suite bathroom.
He hadn't paid for an en-suite, and was trying to pick the lock. She thought there were mice...
Probably just as well he wasn't very good at picking locks.2
