Bar all the pillows and cushions that basically spend their lives being thrown on the floor at night to then be put back in the morning ... I love itFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

The first one is a bit OTT isn't it? You would have thought the owner might have toned it down a bit to try and sell it.
The second one has gone completely the other way and is a bit stark and unlived in!0 -
When you relist your property with a new Estate Agent and they re use the old pictures from the old Estate Agent.

Not sure I like the kitchen / diner of the first one - the style doesn't seem to quite sit with the rest of the house, but I do rather love the rest of the property once you look past all the animal print and overbearing curtains etc. With paired back furniture of the right style it's a rather beautiful house.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Short of refitting all the curtains. drapery and soft seating , I not sure what they could have done if still living in it. Certainly not to my taste but would you make all those changes just to sell when someone can later do the same to suit?
I think most people can see beyond the decor that there is a nice house there and the furniture and drapery etc could be removed as a condition of sale, if you required .0 -

I think the first house is rather splendid. It's chintzy and then some, but it kind of works somehow. The second one is the house for which the expression 'vanilla' was invented and doesn't do it for me at all....
