DNA Test

Hi,

Is there anyway that I can send my DNA to be tested to confirm if I have any potential unknown children?

Thanks.

No, the DNA of new born children isn't registered in the UK. The Police wish that it was because it would make investigating crime very much easier!

If you send your DNA to a service like AncestryUK, if any children you have fathered send their DNA for analysis, you might be contacted then. If a child is aware that their father is not know to them, they are more likely to use a service like AncestryUK.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

This is the fault of TV programs & adverts giving the impression of vast centralised DNA databases.

As far as I'm aware organizations that do harvest DNA have pitiful amounts when compared to the population as a whole.

No, unless they are adults and have also done one with the same service ie ancestry DNA, then there is no way

If you feel you have unknown children, there must be something that has put this in your head. Ask your Ex
The opposite of what you know...is also true

Given maintenance cannot be backdated that would be interesting...
