It's my first (non-diary) thread so take it easy!

What is your Kryptonite? Your Achilles heel, if you will?

We're all amazingly strong-willed DFW's (well we like to think so, anyway ) but what is the thing you're most likely to splurge out on.

Mine is a baguette from the local baguette shop. 2.60 of pure yumminess! Crab flakes, onions and Chinese Chicken to be exact! Everything else I've given up, apart from that!

Ooh, great idea for a thread .

Mine is craft magazines/books, or wool to make up some of the patterns in them. Which, of course, I never finish. I try to fulfil my addiction via eBay so I'm only buying second hand/cheap and with money I've raised by flogging my stuff, but still.

Finishing a project gives me the same kind of thrill as finishing up another bottle of 'bargain' shampoo from my stash, and they both happen just as frequently i.e. almost never .

I guess OH and I have one each.....

Mine is relatively new.... I have fallen in love with the Liz Earle 3 step cleansing routine. It is quite expensive (altho I used to use clinique, so I won't notice too much asthey're about the same price), but if my face feels completely different!

OH's is defiantely Sky... I could live without it easily, but he loves watching tv!

    It's magazines for me.

I usually spend around 5 a month on magazines.

This isn't a large total, but the mags I buy are all celebrity-gossip type mags. They include the same gossip that I can read on my lunch-break online, for free!

However, I just love lying on my bed reading them!

And bargains.... eg biscuits - can't resist a 2 for 1 - then the kids just eat them in double quick time!

I wish I could say that I was a shining example of a DFW but I'd be lying. Seriously thinking of changing my sig to "I can resist anything except temptation!" I am 100% better than I was and make considered buys now rather than purely spontanious ones! I love craft stuff but havent gt any for months, just started running (cos I thought it was cheap - yeah right!) so have to get some stuff but when I do I take time to research & get the cheapest & with cashback! I find it almost impossible to say no to red wine but also thinking of giving up for a while as feel better when I dont drink...

Well my weakness has to be magazines, at one point it was almost an addiction, I can laugh about it now but I was spending so much on them every month it wasn't funny at all.

Now I only buy 1 gossipy magazine a week at a cost of 1.10, plus I buy the Pregnancy and Birth magazine every month (don't know how much it is)

Hubby's weakness has to be lager, he will only buy himself 4 cans every Saturday to watch Gillette Soccer Saturday whereas before he would easily get through crate upon crate.

Sky+ - seriously I could not go back to life with adverts, what a waste of time!

And DVDs, but in my defence, I hardly ever buy one over £5 so they are always bargains and I get my Quidco whenever possible!

Craft stuff is definitely mine. Am currently making stained glass jars and votives as extra pressies for xmas. Red wine would be on there but boyfriend brings that indulgence with him
