Good Heavens! Is that how much a riding lesson costs these days?Good coffee beans and my riding lesson every week. £20 a week's quite a big expense for me, but it's the high point of my week, so I'm cutting back on the grocery bills and trying to budget more so I can afford it!
I'm glad I learnt in the 60's when it was only 2/6d an hour (or if you helped with the mucking out etc., you could have free rides). Those were the days.......
Anyway, the thing I can't do without is Broadband.Sealed Pot challenge #59SPC5 total £473.600 -
Having spent my student and early married days in an asian area I had to learn to turn out curries as satisfactory (if not better) than the ones in the take aways. Do get yourself to an Asian supermarket and buy some pre-packed curry spice int he cardboard boxes Laziza and Shan are good brands. You can make wonderful curries with these. Suggest particularly that you start off with Keema or Kebab mix. Have not got 15 year old son well enough trained to turn out a reliable Keema that is ready for us for tea when we get home. Having got older and richer before I discovered money-saving cutting down on the take away budget has been v helpful.Donedoingdebt wrote: »Curry, Brains Dark, dark chocolate, curry, Brains Dark, dark chocolate, curry, Brains Dark, dark chocolate, curry, Brains Dark, dark chocolate. Joint extravagance is a bottle of wine a day. My personal extravagance is sky+ - love it! Still, we spend £250 a month that pays for all supermarket spending, petrol and pocket money, so we don't do too badly.
