Flying to Dublin

Hi chaps, we live in Bexhill and need to go to Dublin for a few days mid April, we can get a train to Gatwick, Heathrow or Southampton quite easily I guess and wondered if anyone had any advice as to where to start looking for the best deals (it seems to be a bit of a minefield) !

Most flight search tools allow you to use LON to represent "all London airports". In view of Brexit, you might consider taking the ferry, or flying into one of the two Dublin North airports and finishing your journey by train.

(Dublin North is otherwise known as Belfast.)

Now I have heard it all !!!

Is this Ryanair "at it" and having a laugh ?

Where is the other so called Dublin North - Boston, Mass. ?

This is a good website, and it's free.

If you google you should find an "idiot's guide" (like I had to) - or check You Tube for tutorials.

I suspect ex LGW will prove the cheapest. Both Aer Lingus and Ryanair serve Dublin from Gatwick and I have always found very reasonable fares. I think those offered by Ryanair keep Aer Lingus in check. My Ryanair LGW DUB flight next month was £15.99 for the base fare. It costs me more than that to get to London from Gatwick on the train.

Why not just look at the Ryanair website where the same flights are on sale without the Expedia fees? There is no point in using an intermediary if you are booking Ryanair flights at all.
