IAS Appeal- worth it?

Evening guys,
I have received two formal demands for PCN’s on 20th November and 29th November. Working away from home I hadn’t picked up the windscreen notices, my wife had.
I appealed both( using newbies template) in first week of Jan. I received an email on 12th about the first one saying appeal was submitted after 21 day period ?! and so cannot be accepted (PCM by the way) and to go through IAS, which after entering in your details wants to charge you £15. Having looked through here it seems you can’t win on there anyway.
Still waiting to here back on second, more recent.
I live on a residential area and we all get blanketed with PCNs regularly but these are my first. My neighbours all have ten to fifteen or more and just ignore them.
Is it worth it? Or is there another route I can take?
Many thanks

No, an IAS appeal is not worth doing.
Certainly do not even consider the £15 appeal service.
For that £15 you agree to be bound by the decision.
Clearly not the thing to do.
Have you read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread yet?
All this is explained thoroughly there.0 -
Yes, have read that thoroughly. Think best to wait then and see if they take it further. Obviously a no brainer going IAS route...0
