09115628452 this number has just caused a £50.90p to be added to our phone bill, we never made this call and it was alleged made 21st aug at 06:25 for 45 mins at a time when the sun was not out, it seems that its common scam check your phone bill inc mobile share and share aware contacted SKY went through 3 persons 3 departments and on the phone for over 45 mins. finally agreed to refund my money and will be credited to the next bills.
then after an hour received text message from SKY to say no refund as they can prove that the call was made well this lit the touchpaper and after heated text cut the service 9pm.
so make sure to chase this and check your bills
UPDATE:
NOW rec voice mail to say that sky will not refund the scammed £50.90 as they believe that the fraud call was made from the land line.
obviously i am not happy with this at all and will be contacting them tomorrow and prob with change the landline and broadband service for another company...... the customer service from sky is ZERO.
this number is a known scam number and on many sites and many people have been scammed not just sky but bt and virgin as well. the com0panies should bar those calls..

The replies here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5851750/09115628452-number-never-called-but-charged-for-this-by-joi-telecom might be of some help.0

Are you sure that it wasn't one of your parents that called that number? (the location of the Sun has no bearing on this BTW)
As far as I'm aware the only way that can appear on your landline bill is by someone actually phoning the number. Yes it is a scam but it's only made possible by people not thinking that if something looks too good to be true then there's a reason for that. Was it the Morrisons voucher one of them was trying to get perhaps?0 -
Complain to PSA so they can look into what is going on.0

Was this charge on your Sky landline or Sky mobile ?
TBH, it's a tricky one, the real criminals are those that set up the scam and target the naive or vulnerable, Sky are passing on a charge they get from the company providing the 'service'
Sky are probably correct in saying that someone 'dialed' the 0911 number , and the price list is published for calls to numbers in that range , the fact that Ofcom allow such type of companys to exist is incredible, but since when did they have consumers interest at heart ?
If someone got a text or an email that said 'call this number to be entered into a prize draw, or to get a shopping voucher' or whatever, it's the old adage , if it looks to good to be true, it probably isnt....or are you saying that the call was never made ?
If you think Sky should in effect 'police' what numbers you can call, or refund you if you ( or someone using the Sky service) because you fell for a con artist, you are being a little optimistic , if they do ,it's a good will gesture , never an admission of culpability.0
