Sent money into isa after it shut

Hi
I have just used my help to buy isa to buy a house but I for got to cancel the Direct debit so them money as left my account but there is no longer an account for it to go go into, so happpens now ? Can I get my money back ?

    If the ISA is closed your funds will normally end up in a holding account. Just call them once you know the funds have cleared with the sort code and account number of your account it was sent from. It should be relatively easy to have them returned to you.
    • The rich buy assets.
    • The poor only have expenses.
    • The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.

    If the provider has continued to collected a direct debit on a closed account they should eventually return it once they notice their error. If you have not ended a standing order they should again return it once they notice your error. In either circumstance you may wish to phone them to highlight the error and confirm when they will return the money.

    I did the same, but the money appeared back in my current account by the end of the day.
