PC Question? 18th Feb 18 at 4:24 PM
Sorry if this isn't in the right topic, just want to know something, if I watch too much gay porn, will it causes issues with my PC? like virus, slow down performance. I heard it can cause problems if you download videos, but I am not downloading on to my pc, I am downloading them on my USB stick. I just bought a new PC and I am worried it might causes problems if go on porn sites.

I mostly go on Pornhub and Xvideos.

The same rules as downloading any videos I would imagine, don`t click on any dodgy links(I know too late you are on a porn site) and keep your AV up to date.
The main damage will be to your wrist and possibly your mental health.

Any malware there might be would infect your hard drive as well as your Flash Drive, most probably.

Heed the comments of treboeth (above). Occasionally run MalwareBytes for Windows (being careful to select the Free option) to check if you have been infected.

Porn sites have a reputation for harbouring malware. There are many ways to mitigate this risk, but the easiest one for a non-techie Windows user would be to run your web browser in a sandbox when you visit dodgy sites.

A sandbox keeps everything running inside it completely separate from your system. If you pick up malware, it only exists inside the sandbox, which you can delete easily.

Sandboxie is a great free sandboxing program. Unless anything has changed, it's a free program (for non-commercial use), so you can ignore the "Buy now" links, and just go to the download section.

It will probably cause more issues to your PC then watching straight porn.

No - Your computer doesnt care what your sexual orientation is.

However, porn sites are riddled with malware (which is different from a virus) so you should do as indicated above and use malwarebytes.

Providing this is a real question of course

    +1 for Sandboxie.

But for ease of use try something like ToolWiz Timefreeze (free), or Shadow Defender (paid for).

Either creates a virtual environment and simply rebooting will return your machine to itís previous state. If something nasty has inadvertently got on to your machine or if youíve accidentally deleted some important files everything gets returned to its original state.

    Typical review of Timefreeze here:

I would venture to suggest that watching too much gay porn (or straight porn, come to that) would be harmful to more than just your computer's health.

But then again, what do I know? When I was young, Raquel Welch in a bikini was about as close as I got to watching porn.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.
