Do take a rest FireFly. A couple of days rest will do you no end of good. You have had a shock and then a very unsettling time.
Pleased to hear everything went well and even if cold at least it was fine yesterday. Big Hugs. Look after yourself.

    Good Morning,

Still a bit windy but the sun is out. Didn't go out yesterday as it started to bucket down just as we were about to leave the house. Hopefully will get out later today although must get the dreaded ironing done!
Did manage to book a couple of nights in Lancaster to go with another 2 nights I have already booked in The Lakes so looking forward to that. It is an early birthday break so I can be home for my birthday and Mother's day. Forgot to say when I was in Edinburgh the hotel we were staying in had shut all its reception/breakfast area for refurbishment and just had a continental breakfast delivered to the bedroom each morning. I did go and complain, hoping to get something off the bill to buy a proper breakfast when we went out. I was very polite and friendly and just about collapsed when the receptionist refunded our total cost for the 2 nights!
It had been a £90 sale price booked in November before the refurbishment had been confirmed. Anyway, was really pleased with that as quite often I don't bother complaining at hotels I just don't go back.

Glad everything went well FF. Just relax for a bit now. Funerals are so draining, but I think you can relax after them and start to get back to normal life.

I hope everyone is well and good luck for February.

    :hello: Good morning all

Thankfully it's another glorious day here, much the same as
yesterday but without the sudden swift bursts of rain!

    floraison.gif

The Camellias in my garden are looking stunning - all
flowering away & packed with loads of buds this year - happy
    days! :D

I'm doing sugar free February (starting today) so have
given up my beloved chocolate for the month. Then .... I
decided to extend the 'no no to chocolate' into March for
'Dechox'. I'm also stopping munching on crisps too for
March. _pale_ I'm actually quite excited about it all - always
up for a challenge! :rotfl::rotfl:

Can't believe it's February already leanfun! The time passes
by so quickly these days! Good luck with your ironing, would
you like to do mine while you've got your ironing board
    out?! :p

Well done on getting the refund back for the total cost of 2
nights in the Edinburgh hotel sheils! Brilliant :j :T You sound
as if you're feeling so much better now, a lot perkier - with a bit
    more oomph! :p

Hope everything's fine your way rose. xxx

I agree with leanfun & sheils fire**fly. :A Sending (((hugs)))
to you and yours. Funerals are always such an emotional time
& it's understandable that you're feeling totally drained. Please
take care, try to relax and above all ... look after yourself. xxx

If Candlemas Day be fair and bright
    Winter will have another fight.
If Candlemas Day brings cloud and rain,
    Winter will not come again.

    :hello: Good morning all

    Hope you're all well & yippee - it's Friday! :T

It's going to be a bright, breezy & tad chilly day here down
my way. Brrrrrr! Doubt there'll be any warmth in the sun but it's
    still cheery to see. :)

I've got a fairly busy day ahead .... my gorgeous 4yr old
granddaughter is coming to mine this weekend for a
    sleepover :grinheart - can't wait! :j

I'm also looking after the two family doggies, so Nanny Alfie
will be in busy bee mode! Happy days! :happylove

Have a lovely and lucky day all and please take care
    whatever your plans.

Been a lovely day here - got the last of my washing on the line. My ironing is all up date until I bring it in!
Starting to feel a bit better now although I still have a dreadful cough and so does DH.

Be lovely for you to have your GD to stay Alfie - hope you have a great time.

Hope you are feeling a bit back to normal FF.
