I am to travel back to Manchester from Mallorca (Palma) tody in Thompsons flight.
This was to depart at 12.15 p.m.
We were border after 12.45 pm. We are in the aircraft since 1.15 pm.
As I write this we are in the aircraft on tarmac and time now is 3.30.pm.
We are told all due to French air travel controller strike.
Now 2 hours and over on an air craft that has not even taken off.
No drink or food.
Where do I stand with compensation?

    Hi snowshine,

No compensation for this scenario I'm afraid as delay is out of the airlines control.

If you need water press the call button and ask for it. They are obviously just awaiting the departure authorisation from ATC so must be ready to go at short notice.

    Good luck.
