Need to get myself together: The beginning 16th Sep 14 at 1:38 PM
    Hi all

I am back. Short story, I was in this position before though holding a baby in my arms and his dad left us with a loan I got for him (I naively believed there was people after him) and such a bad overdraft. I managed to scrape it back and pay it all off and was on a high (figuratively) of being debt free.

Four years on I have been left (no baby this time) and foolishly beleived this guy was decent. No need to tell me off or should have known better, believe me I am my own worst enemy.

So now my debts are :

1,000 overdraft (hope to clear by Christmas or least by January)
200 odds Next (Yeah this is me I cannot blame anyone but myself here) I want it cleared by Christmas at least
5,000 loan ( I am mad I know for having got it for him and he "says"will help with this but will not hold my breath as he is already asking for more money - probably for the girl he left me for...) I hope to pay this back in 2.5 years not the 5 year plan I was given.

Anyway, I am determined and I will not fail

Also need to put money aside for America in May 2015. (125 a month) and also 52 week challenge. The reason I am going to America is its my 30th and my mum and dad are paying for this.

The first post is longer than I thought it would be I am so sorry!!

Hopefully I will be back on track soon xx

Updated my signature. I will need to reign in the ropes next couple months. I will be 50 short before my mini target of 7k by end this month but least I got nearly there. Plus helped my friend counts more.

Found out for a survey quest I have been taking part in I will be due to receive 45 amazon vouchers end of month... this will go to a microwave I will need for house. At 3.65 for VO this will be for Argos. Will build up so to cover, toaster, iron and kettle Slowly but surely will get there for starter house pack

When I get paid will also add 100 to holiday spending so will be halfway there for Spain. Hoping end May I can hopefully get that to 200 at a push even but 5 week month so maybe not :P. xx

Just got an email I won 10 amazon vouchers in a quiz I took

This means now got 26 amazon vouchers and soon to be due an additional 45. This will more than cover microwave and find out what to add next to my "new home" list.

Viewing a house tonight and it has an island in the kitchen *swoon* always wanted one fingers crossed xx

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

I made an offer last night ten minutes after viewing and he got back to me saying considering and will know by Wednesday 12 noon aka unless he gets a better offer!!!! I love this house.

How exciting!! Hope they don't keep you hanging on for too long - fingers crossed for you!

I remember how it felt when we bought our house - offer 1, rejected. Offer 2, made us wait ages then came back saying if we can move quickly (i.e in 8 weeks) then she'd accept. So we did! Offer was accepted 14th October and we moved in 1st December.

Keep us updated with how you get on!

8 days until pay day here!

Still no word on if I have the house (yes I keep checking my emails :P) even though will have heads up Tuesday I still wanna see haha .

Cashed out PA for 12 so this will go to holiday funds making it 150. I have 50 to end of month and all I need is petrol and some food so might be able to add 20 to this. Will try aim now to get holiday funds complete for Spain end of this month as when I get paid will add 100 and then I can concentrate on getting 500 for Belfast in July.

Cashed out VO 10 argos so will try get another one hopefully by next week and hear news xx
