A question for anyone who has currently purchased - does the free 4 months start from setting up the device or from purchase date? Thinking of cancelling Sky TV if I can't get a deal and would then connect up Now TV box at the end of the notice period when Sky+ box becomes straight Freesat type box.0 -

It starts when you activate the pass- a scratchcard with a code on it, included with the Now TV box- which you must do within 1 year of purchase from the retailer.
You can activate a pass via your account on Now TV's website.
You can register a new Now TV account via the Now TV website, or if you have an existing Sky ID you can use that to log-in to Now TV.
You will have to provide payment details when you set up the service, and at the end of the period covered by the pass Entertainment passes currently renew automatically at £4.99 per month and Movies at £8.99.
You can cancel renewal wholly online in the month before it is due to renew.0 -
