dodgy texts

I have received a text and have been charged 25p. The text says that I tried to send a message yesterday but it was to a incorrect number, That numbers can't start with 7, they must start with 07 or +447. I hadn't even sent a text the previous day. I am worried that this is going to happen every day and cost me a fortune. Does anyone know what this is.

    My friends Mum had trouble sending texts to her daughter, when I looked the phonebook, she had managed to omit the 0 in some numbers, could it be that?

    What was the number the text was sent from? It might be worth looking it up on Google and see if the sender has history.
