Hi I'm travelling to Thailand and my credit is to poor to obtain a zero cc or equivalent. I'm looking at getting a pre-paid card to use in Thailand for mix of cash withdrawals and card spends.
Am i right in thinking the best card is the Fair fx card? Which will charge me 1.5% for card spends or atm withdrawals? Is this the only charge? And is there any to find out the exchange before i use the card?
Below is taken from the mse article is this correct isn’t there a 1.5% worldwide load fee?
Quick Stats. European Load: 0%. Worldwide Load: 0%. Exchange Rate: FairFX's own rate, determined daily. Cash withdrawal fee: €1.50/$2. Currencies: Euros/Dollars. Topping up: Free via Debit card online.

Why are you quoting the FairFx Anywhere card, but posting stats for the Euro Card/Dollar card??
Honestly, I'm really concerned about the state of the British educational system. No ability to analyse information whatsoever.

Well the article doesn’t state that those stats are for the Euro card.
Hence my confusion.
I have no excuses for not being able to find the links you posted.
Thank you they were exactly what I was after.0 -

Go and stand in the corner for a while.
PS: Don't forget that cash machines in Thailand extract a usurious 150 baht(£3) charge per withdrawal. You may have thought that the UK banks were bad.
The only way to avoid this is to find an AEON cash machine. But they are few and far between.
Take some cash with you to change at Bangkok airport.0
