TT own line

How do I find out if TT own my line or lease it from BT - without phoning them? Is there any way of finding out? Apparently if they just lease it from BT I won't need a MAC to switch.
Also if I'm about to switch ISPs do I need to cancel my account with TT at this point? I'd rather not talk to them EVER EVER EVER again if that's possible.

You certainly do need a MAC if you have a non LLU product from Talk Talk, and want a smooth transfer.
The alternative is for you to cancel your broadband contract with Talk Talk, you will then have to wait for a few weeks for the tag to be removed from your line before you can order a service from another ISP.
Have a look here for you exchange, http://www.samknows.com/old/broadband/search.php?q=aberdeen
if TT LLU is available and you pay them for your line rental calls and broadband, chances are you are on their network and will have to return your line to BT, this maybe free if you sign up for 12months otherwise its around £125.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
