There is only company with those initials on the FSA register and they ceased to be authorised in 2006. They werent in reading though.
Have you a post code to search by?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

There is no firm showing at that postcode on the FSA register. So, with no name match and no postcode match it would indicate that they are not authorised by the FSA.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). According to Royal mail the postcode doesn't exist and the same results on a map system.0

Oh right. They are taking £50 a month from me. Original letter stated they had taken over a debt I had with HFC/Household bank. A £5000 loan became a £12000 in their hands!0

I was searching for the same info but the postcode i have is RG2 0DL.
Several years ago (10+)I went through a company called Eurodebt when i found i was having problems and to cut a long story short one of my loans was with HFC they sold the debt to TBI Financial services,The Robert Cort Building,Reading RD20DL.
What happened to me was HFC offered me a settlement figure of around £2500 on a £5000 debt,i couldn't afford it so i told them so,next letter was from TBI telling me they had bought the debt from HFC and i owed them nearly £5000 which i had to pay at a set amount each month i told them to contact Euro debt as they were dealing with my finances.
It was agreed that i would pay a reduced figure but i kept getting phone calls checking my financial standing,i applied for a couple of credit cards and got a Capital one card with a limit of £400 ,i then got a phone call from TBI as they had checked my Credit record and asked me why i had been applying for Credit cards and informed me that i was in breach of the provisions on the agreement and had to pay the balance of £4,946.90 by the 13th of May 2005.
The letter i recieved stated that i had failed to make the payments and i will be taken to court,so i phone them and made arrangements to pay £81.61p for the next 5 years.
It is only now that i decided they were wrong as i didn't default on any payments and it's time i sorted this out.0 -
