Don't buy Small Form Factor. Better a Tower. More versatile and better heat distribution.

I can say anything about STONE built PCs as I don't know what components are used. So support outside warranty might be more complicated. That's why I linked to DELL Optiplex, as they are well supported. But if you are going to take a twelve month warranty with them, perhaps ok.
Keep it in mind and perhaps keep looking.

You can cancel the order. If they try to say that it has already been sent, simply don't accept delivery.

components no problem as i can change them, thats what has kept my Dell Machines going for 10 years, but they come to a point where upgrading is uneconomical and with dells a lot of their major components are hardcoded so will only work on their systems, so replacing a dell processor with a say AMD processor will not work on a dell Motherboard.

not big power thought 350 Watt 80+ Bronze, but as school PCs power would not be critical as they would have been powered by the network

As WAYT offered excellent recommendation. :T I leave everything to him, Hope angryparcel cancelled, (even paying restocking charge, it would be worth?)

    SSD:

The Best Price : SSD 120GB 39.47 pound (But you have to wait. use same Toshiba TLC)

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0194MV82I/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

But if you can afford, get 250/256GB?

I bought my HP elitebook a couple of years ago from Stone/Encore eBay shop, I was so impressed with the quality (product as well as packing etc) I did made a quick research.

It seems they are public sector specialist; they don't do B to C business, relatively unknown outside public sector. But I would find the potential advantage buying from Stone/Encore. (Even I subscribe their news letter)

You know the original seller: Stone
You know the original users: Stone's customer
You know the refurbish seller: Stone (They collected their products and resell them)

Stone would be reasonably confident how the products have been maintained at their customers site, so they would be reasonably confident to offer 90 days warranty (you can upgrade to 1 year warranty) They have no middle man, and they may not have to make a money a lot from refurbishing business as this is not their core business.

Some of so called Refurbishes are more or less box shifters and/or doing processing business. I have got some second hand desktop computers for backup use, but I doubt they have been left at storage with really bad condition. (I found a minor rust in one of PC cases!! no good at all )

If the price is OK, you may want to buy from Stone/Encore. (No affiliation !)

If anybody who knows similar republish resellers, I love to know them.

    Happy SSD computing!

I've just had a look at the stone tower in question it has an Intel DQ67SW and you can add a an extra HDD such as a SSD which shouldn't be a problem and you can use the original hard drive as secondary storage.

Bad advice. If you are having issues you would be better sorting them.
    What problems have you got?

Thanks for your kind offer: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=5653104

W10 issues is usually down to users not knowing how to use it.

Never had any w10 issues since its public launch, although had a few in the insider program, but all fixed and ironed out before public release.

why tell someone to chose a OS that is EOL and will no be supported by Microsoft and will not get an security patches or updates

    W7 support ends in 2020.

Here's an entire board with separate forums devoted to sorting out the many various W10 problems:
    https://www.tenforums.com/windows-10-forums/

    Here's a selection of problems:
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-other_settings/multiple-problems-with-w10/166891f8-025d-4131-b475-504fa7bcbd2d

As I indicated I never had so many problems with xp nor Vista, I never touched Millenium and the most stable os for me was W2k.
You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.
