    The easiest of the lot is to open a Tesco Bank internet savings account with £1 and set up, at the same time, a £1 a month DD.

    Not that anybody needs more encouragement to go to Tesco for this, but their banking app is a very useful feature if you've a smartphone. A 5 digit passcode and two taps sends the money back to my nominated account from 'whence it came. Saves logging in online, which isn't difficult but is more tedious than using the app.

    agreed, i was looking last night, as wanted to create another 4 small DDs. i had closed my TescoBank account, but there aren't any options as easy as this one, so i'm back onboard.

    Thanks for this - I have wondered a few times where she was - wondered if she was ok.

    In all the daft questions Ive ever asked and other threads where I have just lurked she was the one of the most helpful.

    what are the best paying alternatives to TescoBank for Savings Accounts which allow DD contributions?
