Is my leather sofa worth anything?

Options
There's a leather sofa in my house - I've been wanting to replace it since I moved in over 5 years ago and never got round to it. A few people have commented that it may be worth something but I have no idea how I'd find out - any ideas? Can post a photo if anyone knows about this kind of thing. It's the wood apparently that looks expensive?

Thanks

We have a couple of leather sofas that were in a little used snug in our old house. We couldn't get them into our new cottage so we tried to give them away. Nobody wanted them, we couldn't deliver them & I suspect people want new even if old is in good condition. We paid the LA to take them away in the end

Did you buy it, do you know the maker?

    Is it leather?

You could try eBay or Facebook.

If you can't sell it, the British Heart Foundation are always looking for decent furniture and will collect.

How would anyone be able to value a leather sofa without a photo?

It was in the house when I moved in. Not sure if it’s genuine leather or not.

But only if the furniture (such as sofas, beds, etc) is complete with fire safety tags. No tags, they won't even come out to have a look.

I find facebook local sales and gumtree are good options for selling furniture and other stuff. Do not be greedy and someone will buy it.

I am often surprised at what people will buy. Sold a shower door that I no longer need. It saves cost and hassle of having items uplifted to the tip.

    You could try freecycle?
