Love the progress you're making with the place and the OPs :D

I'm sure the banks confuse us on purpose ! All the better reason to pay it all off. Have a good weekend.

So the confusion lies in the fact hubby's £300 is in N@wests ether, it hasn't been sent to mortgage for some reason though the guy on the phone didn't know why, it has been flagged up with another part of the company and once they sort it they will back date it to the date we sent it! Hurrah!! Therefore, N@west had the balance as £174,048.46 before the payment went in making much more sense! Will leave the £300 as being OP last month as they are back dating it ultimately.

    So, revised stats are:
    1st April before Payment- £174,745.84
    After- £173,495.04
    LTV- 88.97%
    Daily Interest- £23.80
    Overall Interest- £690.33
    OP- £343.56
    Capital Paid-£553.42
Once they accept the £300 the mortgage will actually be: £173,195.04

Thanks Lucky! So excited to know next month will nail the 172's!! Though will take longer to get into the 171's!haha. Never satisified!!

ETE thanks for the lovely words, clearly the banks didn't want that £300 to go in, imagine if we hadn't chased it and had assumed I was wrong!! That's £267 interest saved on that one OP!!

Off out to see hubbys bro and visit a massive garden centre to buy plants!! Woohoo!

    Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!

Thanks MFD! Oh I feel your pain, I remember the shift days, mixing nights and days and losing track of everything, I hope they go quick for you!

Thanks Cookie! I do love a bargain find! Spent nearly £200 on plants yesterday for the border, that included lots of bargain plants for 50p in the clearance section and a big Golden King which loves shade and looks super pretty, it is quite big already as well for the shady spot. Hubby is doing amazing with shoveling the top soil, we are a tonne down and it hasn't even finished one half of the bottom yet, I suspect I will need another 2-3tonnes to complete it, it is huge!! Already moved some of the plants down and it is going to make such a difference to how the garden looks, might actually have people round for a BBQ this year!

Thanks ETE, I was wondering if it was my bad maths, but it was real!haha.

Going to start planting some of the plants today, very exciting!! Have TT £9.75 over today to the mortgage and when hubby takes the money for the plants yesterday I will TT whatever is left! Then interest should hit around the 8th and will TT that as well!

So another 4tonnes of soil ordered for £195, so far this has taken us to about £650 for the borders...ouch! Hoping it will make the house more desirable should we want to sell and also will make me happier while we are here! Have put an appeal out to the book of face and checked freecycle for any unwanted plants or cuttings etc as I do not want to spend much more on this for at least a few months!! Though I love buying plants there are other things to think about needing the money in the account for!!

Did 3.27miles today and the blumming fluffin trainers gave me another blister despite cushioned stuff and tying them tight, never had such awful shoes! Debating buying some new ones that are the same as my old ones...tsk.

Bought a new dress today for the charity doo on sat, if it fits would work well for at least two other functions we have coming up and its super pretty!

TT another £7.35 as well which makes me happy!!
