    If you have found your ancestors in census records, then you should go to the "lost cousins" website. (I cant post a link but if you type in the name and add .com you should find it)

    You just put in the details from the census & it looks for matches for the same people. It's a great site & a good way to find people researching the same ancestors. They send out a useful newsletter too.
